After qualifying from Bristol University, I have worked in several practices in Berkshire. Although I started my career in a mixed farm and companion animal practice, I soon realised that my main interest was in treating cats, dogs and other small animals. When I was offered the chance to set up my own surgery with Vets4Pets in Kingswood I leapt at the opportunity to return to Bristol. I have loved meeting our new clients and their varied pets, and I am really impressed at how friendly everyone is around here. I spend as much of my free time as possible walking in the local countryside. My main professional interest is in medicine, and I have completed a GP certificate in small animal medicine which has helped me to keep up to date with current thinking. However, I enjoy all aspect of this wonderfully varied job.

I graduated from The Royal Veterinary College in July 2010 and have since worked for several small animal practices as well spending two years with the RSPCA in London. Whilst I love all aspects of veterinary work, I particularly enjoy surgery. The opportunity arose to return to my hometown of Bristol a few years ago and I jumped at the chance. I love this city and i'm enjoying putting roots down here with my husband, our dopey but gorgeous Labrador, 2 cats and our one year old daughter Heidi

I graduated from The University of Bristol in 2022 but am originally from Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. I particularly enjoy performing surgery and seeing exotic animals, with snakes and guinea pigs being my favourite. I currently have a rescue cat called Heidi, she is a noisy old lady that likes to wake me up in the early hours of the morning! In my spare time I enjoy reading, painting or binge watching gossip girl.

I graduated from the University of Bristol in 2022 and joined the team in 2024. After graduating I started as an equine vet, but found myself wanting to work with small animals. I spent a couple weeks at a neuter clinic in Spain for stray and rescue animals and shortly after this I joined the team eager to help and treat people’s beloved pets. Outside of work I enjoy running and bouldering and generally spending time outdoors.

I joined Vets4Pets at the beginning of December 2021, I have always worked in pharmacies and hospitals, but I’ve always loved animals and knew I definitely wanted to be in a career involving them. I have loved all sorts of animals from a young age, resulting in me owning, four dogs, 15 rabbits, a tortoise, 3 ducks and a goose! I think I am definitely more of a dog person and am always happy to have a cuddle, but I do love all the little bunnies that visit as well. My favourite part of the job is seeing all the different species and breeds that come in the practise, and of course having cuddles with all the animals that come to visit us!

I enjoy inpatient and critical care and cannot wait to further my career in these areas. Outside of work I maintain an active lifestyle and enjoy spending time with friends and family to include my two very fluffy and completely crazy dogs Lexi and Luna.

I have a particular interest in behaviour and inpatient care, but I'm keen for a cuddle with any patient! At home I have 2 spaniels, Indie and Pippa, and neither can be trusted around anything even resembling food. Outside of work I love hiking, dancing and going to music gigs.

I have worked in the veterinary industry for over 10 years and still thoroughly enjoy it. A passion of mine is to rescue and rehabilitate animals; I’ve worked and volunteered in rescue centres and looked after lots of animals in need. Outside of work I enjoy going for walks, socialising with friends, and playing board games. I have 4 spoilt rescue bunnies that live the life of luxury in a large enclosure outside.
