Meet the team
I graduated from The Royal Veterinary College in July 2010 and have since worked for several small animal practices as well spending two years with the RSPCA in London. Whilst I love all aspects of veterinary work, I particularly enjoy surgery. The opportunity arose to return to my hometown of Bristol a few years ago and I jumped at the chance. I love this city and i'm enjoying putting roots down here with my husband, our dopey but gorgeous Labrador, 2 cats and our one year old daughter Heidi
I qualified as a nurse in 2013 but have worked in vet practices for over 10 years and started out as a receptionist first! I love all animals great and small, furred, feathered or scaled and have a further nursing certificate in exotics. At home I have a naughty Collie cross, a ginger tom-cat and Kevin the budgie! In my spare time I love to spend time with my family (human and animal 😀)
I qualified as a RVN 3 years ago and started at Vets4pets just before Christmas. I have been lucky enough to volunteer abroad helping animals in need and have been able to look after some more exotic species. Nothing compares to a cuddle from all of your little ones though''
I started at Vets4Pets Kingswood at the end of 2020 as a student veterinary nurse in my fourth and final year of university. I have worked in practice for three years now and have loved every moment. I have a soft spot for cats and have two of my own, Betty and Fizz, who love to cuddle and play. I love meeting all your pets when they visit us in practice and giving them cuddles to comfort them during their visit
Having grown up with animals my whole life I always knew I would end up working within the industry so after graduating from university in 2014 I volunteered at a number of places in Bristol including Bristol Zoo, Noah's Ark and WildPlace. Since joining the reception team here at Kingswood in 2016 I have loved every moment especially getting to know to all our lovely clients and of course giving cuddles to all their pets.
I joined Vets4Pets at the start of September 2018 and have previously volunteered in many places such as in vets, farms and rescue shelters. I’ve loved animals since a young age and have wanted to go into the animal industry for as long as I can remember, because of my strong passion for animals I have gained two qualifications in Animal Nursing and Animal Management & Ethics. I also have previously worked in retail where I realised I love speaking to people and feel comfortable with talking to everyone. I have 2 gorgeous cats at home called Ben and Pixie who I adore. My favourite part of the job is definitely giving all of our furry patients lots of cuddles and seeing them once they are all back to being happy and healthy again after they have been treated. I am currently a Client Care Adviser but I am in the process of learning some Veterinary Care Assisting!
After some time working in retail, I realised that I loved talking to and getting to know people, but I wanted to use my customer service skills to work with animals. I completed a qualification in animal care and am now enjoying learning new things every day at work as well as the odd fluffy cuddle!
I have loved meeting your pets and look forward to meeting you to!
