Meet the team

Currently on maternity leave
My name is Catherine I am a Registered Veterinary Nurse at Carlisle Vets4 Pets. I have been a nurse since 2006 after completing my BSc Honours degree in Veterinary Nursing at Myerscough College. Since qualifying I have worked in both mixed and referral veterinary practices.
I have also worked for Askham Bryan College at Newton Rigg College teaching Veterinary Nursing. In January 2016 I started working at Carlisle Vets4Pets. My days involve conducting nurse clinics, caring for our patients in the hospital, monitoring anaesthetics and completing insurance forms. I am currently studying for an award in Emergency and critical care and anaesthesia.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my little boy and walking our dogs in the Lake District.

My name is Bex. I joined Carlisle Vets4Pets in July 2017. I qualified in July 2014. I enjoy all aspects of my job but in particular medical nursing, intensive care and consults; meeting the clients and their pets.
Outside of work I enjoy exploring the lakes with my spaniel Ace, the gym, running and travelling.

My name is Lauren and I’ve worked at Vets4Pets Carlisle since December 2016. I qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in July 2016 with a Foundation Degree in Veterinary Nursing from Myerscough College, in July 2018 I graduated again with a First Class, Bachelor of Science Degree in Veterinary Nursing.
I really enjoy being a veterinary nurse helping monitor anaesthetics and assisting during surgery, conducting nurse clinics, caring for in-patients, helping maintain stock throughout the hospital and running puppy socialisation classes here at the practice.
In my spare time I enjoy walking with my dog Betsy and taking part in various activities with my local Young Farmers Club. I look forward to meeting you all and your lovely pets!

My name is Lottie and I have worked at Vets4Pets Carlisle since September 2018, where I also completed my practical training in 2016/2017.
I qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in July 2018 where I received a Foundation Degree with Askham Bryan College.
I am now completing a two year top-up course with Myerscough College to receive a BSc (hons) degree. I really enjoy meeting and talking to clients and their pets in Nursing Clinics and carrying out medical nursing tasks, as well as having a keen interest in emergency and critical care.
In my spare time I enjoy horse riding and walking in the Lake District.

My name is Rebecca. I have been with the team at Carlisle Vets4Pets since we opened in 2013. I started as a receptionist and am now the full time Customer Services Manager for the practice. I am also a qualified SQP (Animal medicines advisor).
I have worked in Veterinary practice since I was 16 obtaining a vast amount of experience. I love working with the team here. I am proud to be part of a practice that prides itself in offering outstanding customer service. Outside of work I like spending time with family and friends and going to the gym. I also love walks with our family dog Molly and cuddles with my cat Figaro.

My name is Catriona. I'm a receptionist at Vets4Pets Carlisle and have been working here since March 2017. I've wanted to work with animals for as long as I can remember. I graduated with a degree in Zoology from the University of Liverpool in 2015 and have been pursuing a career in animal care ever since.
Since working at Vets4Pets I have achieved a certificate as a Pet Loss Support and Bereavement Councillor, so I am able to offer support to those clients that need it. I am also responsible for keeping our Facebook page up-to-date with engaging and informative posts. My favourite part of the job is helping to keep pets (and their owners) happy and healthy.
I love getting to know all of our clients and working with such a fantastic team! Outside of work my free time is spent socialising and travelling with friends and exploring the Lake District with my two basset hounds, Maisie and Matilda.
Vets4Pets Carlisle is committed to bringing you affordable, high quality care via a modern, well equipped practice, including a lab, pharmacy, digital x-ray and ultrasound. Plus, on site car parking too!
The friendly team can't wait to meet all of their new clients!
