I qualified from London Vet School in 1997 and I've spent the past twenty years working as an emergency vet, gaining a post-graduate qualification in small animal emergency and critical care in 2020.
I recently took ownership of Derby Vets for Pets and I'm excited to be back seeing some non-emergency cases. I'm interested in all aspects of medicine and surgery, with a particular passion for complex emergency problems.
I live in Derby with my wife who is also a vet, 2 teenagers, and Toast and Juno, our pandemic cats. I enjoy bouldering, the outdoors, and all things zompoc.
Dawn graduated from the Royal Veterinary College London in July 2009, then went to work at a small Animal veterinary practice in Grimsby before joining Derby Vets for Pets team in January 2011. Dawn enjoys the variety in the animals she sees and the challenge of working up cases. Dawn has a particular interest in Rabbits and she enjoys the company of her own two Rabbits called Ginny and Harry.
In her spare time she loves to read fictional books especially mysteries, visiting the cinema, and often attempts a bit of gardening.
Diana graduated in 2006 from USAMVBT in Romania and has been working for Companion Care since 2015. She did an internship at a vets in Italy between 2011 and 2013. Diana has a keen interest in cases involving surgery and general medicine. She has 2 dogs, 2 cats and a ferret back home in Romania and is interested in nature and cooking.
