Sylvia (just call her “Sam”) was born and raised in the lovely Bavarian Alps in Germany and studied veterinary medicine in Belgium, after her Master’s degree in Biology. She lost her heart to the street dogs and cats in Africa and loves small furries. She’s very happy with living close to the beach now and enjoys martial arts, dancing and learning new languages.
Karin is originally from Denmark. She’s always wanted to work with animals, so studied animal management at Kingston Maurward College, after which she qualified as a veterinary nurse. Karin joined Vets4Pets in June 2016, working her way up to Head Veterinary Nurse. She is especially interested in 'Feline Behaviour' and has gained a certificate in this field. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her partner and cat Pip.
Jade has worked for Vets4Pets since 2017 and qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2019. Jade has always wanted to work with animals and after excelling in her role, she was promoted to Deputy Head. She is specifically interested in laboratory work and radiography and is currently studying towards a certificate in emergency and critical care. Jade also rescues and rehabilitates injured and/or orphaned wild hedgehogs and is the owner two big babies named Bruce and Reuben.
Paige started working within a veterinary surgery in 2012. Her love for animals has encouraged her to train as a veterinary nurse, at Lynwood School of Veterinary Nursing. She qualified in July 2021 and is now our main consulting nurse, with a special interest in nutrition & dentistry. In her spare time she likes spending time with her partner, friends & family. Paige is the proud owner of her rescued French bulldog, named Max.
Zoe joined the team at the beginning of October 2017, as a Veterinary Care Assistant and completed her training towards this through Lynwood School of Veterinary Nursing. She started her Veterinary Nurse training in March 2022. In her spare time she loves to go on walks with her border collie Patch & her new addition, Joey the Labrador!
Chelsey has always had an interest in working with animals and has completed a Level 3 Animal Management course at Kingston Maurward College. She joined our practice in June 2021 and will be starting her Veterinary Nurse training in September 2022, at Lynwood College. She is the proud owner of Lola the boxer puppy, who definitely keeps her occupied
Cristie has worked in customer service and administration roles for the past 15 years. Her strong love for animals drove her to pursue a career with Vets4pets in 2014. Cristie started as a receptionist when the practice first opened and has moved up in her role to Practice Manager. Growing up on the coast of sunny South Africa, she absolutely loves to be near the ocean. She lives in Weymouth with her fur-baby, a tabby cat called Walter.
Nikki was previously employed for 14 years as a Receptionist at a busy hotel where she gained loads of experience in Front of House client service. With a young son, there is no such thing as 'spare time' but Nikki and her family do enjoy forest walks in their wellies and exploring new places. They are the proud owners of a lovely kitty called Kallie.
Jess studied at Kingston Maurward College and received her level 3 diploma in animal management, before starting work in hospitality. She then decided to combine her love of meeting new people with her love for animals by joining Vets4Pets in September 2020. In her spare time Jess enjoys going for walks with her dog Lulu, shopping and cuddling all her friends’ dogs!
Lauren joined our team in September 2021 as a client care advisor. Her love for meeting new people came from previously working front of house at a hotel in Weymouth. She has always had a passion for animals, having cats, guinea pigs, hamsters and even a tortoise!
