Simone Dent

Practice Owner & Veterinary Surgeon

MRCVS

Read Simone Dent bio

I graduated from Massey University in New Zealand 21 years ago. I worked in New Zealand for 8 years before moving to England to live. For the first 8 years here I worked in various practices and then in October 2004 I was fortunate to open Vets4Pets Chelmsford as the sole partner, fulfilling a long term career goal. I love my work and it has been very rewarding to see the practice grow from zero clients to where it is today. I live in Essex with my English husband and a very naughty Bengal called Smeagol. When I am not working I enjoy target archery, scuba diving, the gym, watching movies and socialising.

Prior to starting work for Vets4Pets Chelmsford in August 2020, I worked in Information Technology in both the Transport and Financial Services industries. In 2020, an opportunity arose to join the practice team part time, supporting Simone in practice operations from banking and expenses, animal health care plans and general practice maintenance. We share our home with Hugo, our dog and Rocket, a Syrian Hamster.
