Meet the team

Having originally trained in New Zealand, I graduated from Massey University in 1995 and have been practising in the UK since 1998. I worked in Essex for 7 years before having the pleasure of opening Braintree Vets4Pets in March 2014 and Maldon in August 2014. I have thoroughly enjoyed my career so far, during which time I have developed a passion for canine and feline medicine and therapeutics and a great enthusiasm for working with small furries (rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters…) At home I have a pet dog and rabbit. When not at work, I enjoy the outdoors, rock music, theatre, cinema and travel.

Rowan graduated from the University of Bristol in June 2020.
His interests include feline and canine medicine and surgery.
Rowans hobbies outside of work include cooking (and eating!), socialising and being disappointed by Newcastle United!

Nadia graduated at The Royal Veterinary College in the Summer of 2019.
She enjoys both medicine and surgery of all of our patients, and has a particular interest in small furry animas...particularly bunnies!

Katrina graduated from The Royal Veterinary College in London in 2017, she joined us in 2020 and is currently on maternity leave.

Emmy graduated from The Royal Veterinary College in London in 2014, she joined the team on a part time basis in 2017.

I started working in the veterinary industry July 1990 and qualified as a veterinary nurse in 1994. Since then I have gained over 30 years of experience and knowledge both in veterinary pharmaceuticals and within the veterinary practice. In January 2017 I took on the role of practice manager of Maldon Vets4Pets as well as continuing to be heavily involved in patient care and nursing on a day-to-day basis. This role has proved to be a fulfilling and rewarding challenge that I thoroughly enjoy.

In 2011 the opportunity came to join a large busy Veterinary practice as a Veterinary Care Assistant, that was nearly 9 years ago and I haven’t looked back. I first qualified as an ANA and then I started training as a Veterinary nurse in 2014 and qualified in August 2017. I joined Vets4Pets Maldon in July 2017 and I have really enjoyed being a part of the Vets4Pets family.

Dawn qualified as a veterinary nurse over 30 years ago, she has a wealth of experience nursing a variety of species.

I trained to be a Veterinary Nurse after leaving the sports industry. I joined Maldon Vets4Pets in 2020 after 4 years at another practice. I qualified and became a registered Veterinary Nurse in 2021 and I haven't looked back.
I enjoy many different different aspects of nursing, however I particularly enjoy being in theatre and I have a keen interest in physiotherapy and rehabilitation which I hope to study in the future.
In my spare time you will either find me in the gym or running trials with friends with the odd marathon thrown into the mix.

I initially starting working at Vets4Pets Maldon in 2018 as a work experience student and quickly fell in love with the industry! After a year of working I was fortunate to be offered a full time position as a veterinary care assistant. After a 18 months of being a VCA I was offered the opportunity to start my Veterinary Nursing training which has been my dream since I was little, I am now currently working towards my Veterinary Nursing Qualification at Writtle University College and cannot wait to qualify and continue progressing in the career that I adore.

I started working here as a Receptionist in March 2020 just before. I have now progressed to a Veterinary Care Assistant so I am more hands on with the animals. I have a dog and a cat at home to keep me occupied!

I took the job as receptionist at Maldon Vets4Pets in 2015 and got promoted to Head Receptionist 2018 throughout my time at Maldon Vets4Pets I have completed my Bronze, Silver and Gold Award from the British Veterinary Receptionist Association.
Before working at Maldon Vets4Pets I worked as a Receptionist at VetsNow Emergency Vets where I thoroughly enjoyed working with both the animals and the team this prompted my desire to work in a smaller vets practice as I get to build good relationships with colleagues, animals and clients.

After working in education for nearly 19 years, I took a change in career and joined Vets4Pets in July 2018 as a Receptionist (and they say never work with children or animals!).
I have always loved animals and have had many pets. My much loved Irish Wolfhound, Bear is the largest and heaviest pets that visits our practice...mainly for treats!!
I enjoy meeting all the pets, old and young and conversing with their owners.

I joined Vets4Pets in April 2021 as a Receptionist and I love working here and meeting all of the different animals. I myself have a cat called Luna and a naughty Beagle called Henry!

Tia joined the team in March 2022 as a weekend assistant
Vets4Pets Maldon is committed to bringing you affordable, high quality care via a modern, well equipped practice, including a lab, pharmacy, digital x-ray and ultrasound. Plus, on site car parking too!
The friendly team can't wait to meet all of their new clients!
