Meet the team
My name is Shabbir Shariff. I am one of the Joint Venture Partner at Vets4Pets Leicester Fosse Park and Vets4Pets Leicester Beaumont Leys. I have been at the practice since opening in November 2011. I graduated from the University of Pretoria in November 2008. My interests lies in feline medicine and laser therapy. I enjoy helping the various pets (cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, degus, gerbils and hamsters) we see daily. I am married to my lovely wife Sumera. We have a cat and hamster called Smudge and Rascal. My hobbies include doing a lot of DIY and tinkering with cars. I also enjoy playing basketball, badminton, watching formula 1 and movies.
Sali qualified in 2016 at The University of Nottingham and has been a dedicated vet providing the highest standard of care at the practice since 2022. She has a keen interest in soft tissue surgery and has a love for Red Pandas. In her spare time Sali loves to travel and experience new cultures.
Sarah has been in the veterinary industry for over 20 years. She joined the practice in July 2021 as a RVN and was promoted to Head Veterinary Nurse in May 2022.
Sarah helps inspire and develop our next generation of nurses.
Sarah enjoys travelling both in the UK and around the world.
She owns a beautiful Sprocker Called Olly.
Wimbikayi graduated from the University of Zimbabwe with a diploma in Veterinary Nursing in 2005. He completed the ISFM diploma in Feline Nursing in 2020 and is currently studying towards the certificate in Advance Veterinary Nursing. Wimbi is passionate of all aspects of veterinary nursing and is always keen to improve the standard of all our patients. Outside of work he enjoys spending time with family and friends, sports and nature.

Ana has worked at the Practice since December 2020 she has progressed from a Veterinary Care Assistant to our Student Veterinary Nurse and is currently working towards her Veterinary nurse Diploma. Ana has a beautiful pony called Ariel and enjoys spending her spare time riding through the Leicestershire countryside.
Jessica started in 2023 after completing her level 3 Animal Care and science Diploma at Brooksby College. After completing her qualification went to work on a Horse Race yard in Australia. Jessica has completed her BVRA qualification and is currently working towards her VCA qualification. Jessica loves cats and owns 3 cats called Sweep, Simon and Rubble. She also is a keen horse Rider and has a horse called Java who is 25 years old.
Chantelle has worked at the practice since January 2019, she has progressed from a Receptionist to a Veterinary Care Assistant and has completed her BVRA qualification and is now working towards her VCA qualification. Chantelle has a Border Collie called Milo. Chantelle is always at hand to help all our Clients and their beloved pets with a warm smile on her face.
Jennie has over 28 years of Veterinary experience working as a RVN in Small animal and Emergency Clinics. She joined the practice in 2022 as our Practice Manager to help motivated and develop the team and to ensure high levels of patient care is delivered.
Jennie has a black cocker spaniel called Fozzy.
My name is Emma Szuster, I joined the business in August 2016 and I am Veterinary Receptionist at Leicester Beaumont Leys. I have a 3 year old Pug named Pumba and I enjoy eating.
Amy has worked at the practice since September 2020 and loves welcoming all the pets as they arrive at the front desk often with a treat ready in her hand. She enjoys working within the veterinary industry to help ensure all pets receive the care they deserve. She has recently passed her BVRA qualification and is passionate about developing her Patient service skills.
