Mr Alistair Lyons
Practice Owner & Veterinary Surgeon
MRCVS

Mrs Katrina Chopper
Veterinary Surgeon
MRCVS

I graduated from Glasgow vet school in 2007. After 4 years in mixed practice in Wales I realised that I wanted to concentrate on small animal practice and surgery in particular. With this in mind I undertook a certificate in small animal surgery which I completed in 2014. After a brief stint in Canada, during a particularly cold winter, I worked in several practices in various parts of the UK including time in a surgical referral centre in Newcastle before coming back up to the Glasgow area. I enjoy all aspects of general practice but particularly surgery. I also have a particular soft spot for Labradors as I have a black Lab called Islay.
Outside of work I can be found doing my best to still make it round a rugby pitch on a Saturday. I also have an old Land-Rover that sometimes I spend more time fixing than driving!
