Meet the team
Hi, my names Alex and I’m the clinical lead vet here at Sheffield Drakehouse. I joined the practice in December 2019 and I qualified as a Veterinary Surgeon in 2014 in Romania. I have two lovely cats at home called Bob & Pukka, both cats have been rescued from within practices. I love my team at Vets4Pets Sheffield Drakehouse.
I qualified in Romania in 2013 and moved to the UK 2 years later to work in several mixed and small animal practices where I developed interests in diagnostic imaging. In 2020 I gained my Post graduate certificate in Small Animal Diagnostic Imaging.
Outside of work I love spending time with my family and friends, cycling or going on photography trips.
Qualified as an RVN in July 2022, and have worked in small animal practice since this.
I previously worked as a lecturer in animal health education, gaining my PGCE in post 16 and further education qualification.
I am very interest in animal behaviour, and emergency and critical care.
I am very keen to support our students, and am working towards my clinical coach qualification.
In my spare time, I enjoy long walks in the Peak District
Holly has recently joined our team as a VCA, with the view to starting her student nursing apprenticeship later this year. Holly has previous experience working in a kennels environment, and has an array of pets herself, including horses, dogs and rabbits.
Holly enjoys spending time with her own pets, and in the outdoors, and is looking forward to progressing her career.

Hi, I’m jess I have been working here at vets4pets Drakehouse Sheffield since March 2023, as one of the receptionists.
