Meet the team
I started as a school leaver helping out in a veterinary practice close to home in Northumberland in 1993. I went on to complete my nursing training and qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 1998. 5 years later I joined the Vets4Pets becoming the groups first Veterinary Nurse Partner. After over 15 years as a Practice Partner my role has moved from full time nursing to now mainly practice management although I like to keep my hand in with nursing. My working week is split between both Sunderland South Vets4Pets and Sunderland Vets4Pets in Fulwell.
I graduated from University in 2018. I have a keen interest in diagnosing and treating surgical cases and am looking to further my knowledge and skills in orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery in the near future.
I qualified as a veterinary surgeon from the university of Edinburgh in 2018 but I am a local girl from Sunderland. i had spent several weeks doing work experience with Sunderland Vets4pets where i became very fond of the practice and the team and was thrilled to be offered a job as a new graduate vet. I love performing surgery but also have an interest in medicine so general practice is a great balance for me. i like to spend most of my spare time is spent walking with my dog, Fergus.
I graduated in 2019 with a Double Degree in Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science from the University of Lleida, Spain. I moved to the North East of England soon after graduating, where I worked in a first opinion practice for two years before joining Vets4Pets Sunderland South team in November 2021. I have a strong interest in Internal Medicine, even though I love all the disciplines of Veterinary Medicine.
I completed a Post Graduate Certificate in Internal Medicine in 2023.
In my spare time, I love to explore the countryside. I have a Chihuahua called Yeti who I love taking on walks.
I graduated with a Double Degree in Veterinary Medicine & Animal Science from the University of Lleida in Spain. I briefly worked in Barcelona after qualification before deciding to continue my professional career in the UK. I've worked in primary care for two years now and I joined the Sunderland team in November 2021. I enjoy the great variety of cases we see on a daily basis & helping pets and getting to know their owners is what makes me love my job. I have an interest in eyes and completed a post-graduate certificate in ophthalmology in 2023.
In my free time, I enjoy travelling and taking my Chihuahua Yeti for beach walks

I have had a love for animals since being little and when an opportunity came about to join the team at Vets4Pets as a VCA I jumped at the chance. Every day is different in this role. My placement is split between attending practice and college. I look forward to caring for the patients in our practice and will be working hard to pursue my goal to become a Registered Veterinary Nurse in the future.
I have worked with our Vets4Pets family since leaving school at 16 years old. I love getting to meet clients' furry friends everyday in consultations and looking after them in theatre while monitoring their anaesthetics.
I qualified as a RVN in summer 2023
I joined the Vets4pets family in September 2022 whilst on my Veterinary Care Assistant course which I have completed and I will be starting as a first year veterinary nursing student at Sunderland South Vets4Pets in September 2023. I enjoy all aspects of working in a veterinary practice, I have a key interest in emergency and critical care.
I have a cocker spaniel called Willow and a beagle called Hope who I love to take for long walks along the beach.

I began my Vets4Pets journey in May 2013 where i worked as a member of the reception team before recently joining Sunderland South Vets4Pets as Client Services Manager in early 2023. I enjoy interacting with clients and all the fantastic pets we get to see.
After work I love spending time with friends and family.
I joined the team in November 2018 as a client care advisor, previously I worked at an OOH Emergency vets, having a love of animal’s means I love working at Vets4Pets and love interacting with our clients and their pets. In my spare time I go to the gym and enjoy trying new things also going on walks with my family. I have had numerous pets over the years and currently have a cat named George & a fish named Barry. I am a client care advisor and started working here at Sunderland South Vets4Pets in October 2018. The things I love most about my job is meeting new people and their beloved pets on a daily basis. I have 2 pugs called Frank and Fearne who love going on walks and cant resist cuddles.
I have grown up surrounded by animals and veterinary practices my whole life, and have always loved coming into Vets4Pets with my mam, Rachel, to see all the animals. I began working for a Vets4Pets in Northumberland in November 2020, before joining the team in Sunderland South Vets4Pets in November 2021
After working in childcare for the last 10 years I wanted to explore a new career and joined Vets4Pets at the start of June 2023, first starting at the Fulwell practice and then moving across to the Grindon practice. I can honestly say it's the best decision I made, I enjoy interacting with clients and getting to meet their pets. Every day is different. Cuddles is a big perk of the job.
Outside of work I have my own little pug called Belle. In my spare time I love to spend it with family and friends, going on walks and reading a good book.

Client Services Advisor
After 15 years in sports coaching (swimming) I made the decision to step away from the poolside and move into a new and very different role. I enjoy using computer systems and have been able to combine this into my new role. I work remotely from the practice handling a large amount of the Digital Practice (WhatsApp) interactions we have with clients.
In my spare time I enjoy being with my family out and about. I can often be found on the side of a football pitch cheering on my boys or on the rugby pitch playing a game myself.
I previously worked in a veterinary practice in Northumberland on reception and during this time I assisted with the completion of insurance claim forms. When the role came up at Vets4Pets it was a great opportunity for me. I work from home remotely processing the insurance claims which allows me to work around my young family.
In my spare time I enjoy being out and about with the family
