Meet the team
Dr Philippa Herd
Veterinary Surgeon & Joint Venture Partner
BVM&S CertVOphthal MRCVS
I graduated from The 'Dick and worked in mixed practice in the Cotswolds, until moving to work in Zimbabwe. After having my children, I resumed small animal practice work in and around Perth, interspersed with voluntary work in Greece and with the World Veterinary Service in Africa, India and the Caribbean.
I have a keen interest in Feline medicine and Ophthalmology and have gained additional qualifications in both of these areas. From a young age I always wanted to be a Vet and would bring home stray kittens and spend all my time working in riding stables.
For many years, I also bred Blackface sheep. In my spare time I still enjoy riding, playing racket sports, swimming and gardening.
Flo Aivaliotis
Head Veterinary Nurse & Joint Venture Partner
Registered Veterinary Nurse
I qualified in 2017 from SRUC Barony Campus, Dumfries, with a HND in Veterinary Nursing.
Before qualifying, I worked at the Barony College as an Animal Technician and conducted a two year student placement at Charnwood Veterinary Centre in Dumfries.
Prior to this, I worked at Abbey Green Vets in the Cotswolds, as a Veterinary Nursing Assistant and at Pershore College as an Animal Technician, where I cared for a wide range of animals including, Snakes, Frogs, Spiders, Birds, Rodents, Pigs, Sheep, Goats and even Llamas.
For a little over a year, I lived, worked and travelled around Scandinavia, helping remote farms care for their animals and grow organic food.
At home I have a small menagerie, which includes two dogs- a Border Collie x and a miniature Dachshund whom I hand reared from two days old (you may see them around the practice) three cats, one who was also hand reared from two days old, chickens, aquatic frogs and lots of fish!
I have a real passion for Animal Behaviour and studied Canine and Feline Behaviour and Psychology as part of my HND in Animal Welfare and Management qualification. My other interests include Consult Nursing, Senior and Palliative care, Arthritis management, Dental hygiene, Wound management and Rabbit, Guinea-pig and Hamster health and welfare.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with all my animals, friends and family and due to my Greek husband, I am learning Greek, γεια, πώς είσαι?
I am really proud of my team here at Vets4Pets Perth, I have never worked with such a passionate, kind, caring and dedicated team; each and every member of staff treats our patients as if they were their own. I have been around animals all my life, they are my greatest passion and I wanted a rewarding career where I could work and care for animals all day and contribute to making a difference to their lives; no day is ever the same and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Hello my name is Nicole.
I have always had a passion for animals and achieved my dream of qualifying as a vet in 2017. I have a keen interest in surgery and emergency care and I've completed two postgraduate certificates, enhancing my skills further in these areas. At home I have three pugs and in my spare time I enjoy horse riding, walking, skiing and travelling.

Hello my name is Jennie.
I qualified in 2019 and worked in a hospital setting for a few years. I am really loving being in a smaller practice now where I can get to know my patients a bit better.
I have a tripod cat who runs my house like the Queen she is and I have a Cavalier Spaniel who you may see around the practice; we call him mountain cavy because he loves nothing more than bagging a munro with us, then settling down for a cuddle at a local pub for a drink on the way home!
In my spare time, I enjoy being outside, paddle boarding, hiking, climbing, skiing, camping- whatever it is there's always plenty of stops to admire the view.
Hello my name is Lennox
I qualified from Edinburgh Napier in 2021. I enjoy surgery, anaesthesia and nurse consults. My zoo at home consists of my big beautiful rescue dog, my handsome ginger cat, a snake and two cheeky guinea pigs. Outside work I like spending time with my friends and family and I am also trying to learn Polish Cześć jak się masz? and I do pole fitness, which I am absolutely loving! I love working at Vets4Pets, as I feel like I have known my colleagues all my life! I feel appreciated as an RVN here and I know how much everyone loves and cares for all our patients.
Samira Brooksbank
Qualified Veterinary Care Assistant
Level 2 Diploma VCA
I started working at Vets4pets in August 2018 as a Client Care Advisor. I had never worked as a receptionist before but from my previous jobs I have always enjoyed working with the public and it’s even better now as I get to meet all the clients along with their furry friends!
My friends and family all know me as being a huge animal lover and I always used to sneak through the back of the practice to get cuddles from all the animals. Due to this, I took a keen interest in nursing and was given the opportunity to re-train as a Veterinary Care Assistant (VCA) which is a job I love and find very rewarding.
I have a beautiful greyhound who is bundle of madness and two rabbits.
Hello I’m Leia.
I joined Vets4Pets in November 2017 as a Client Care Advisor and have worked my way up to Practice Manager; I roll I take very seriously and conduct with passion and dedication. I absolutely love my job, everyday is different. I have a keen interest in administration, especially animal insurance and often have the task of completing claims for clients, which I really enjoy doing.
At home, I am kept busy with my two young children, three dogs (two bouncy Labradors and a French bulldog) and my two cats (a Maine Coon and a DSH) .
I enjoy spending time with my children and taking long walks with my dogs, all of whom keep me on my toes.
Hello my name is Wendy
I am a mum to two girls, two dogs, two cats, three rabbits and a crested gecko!
I have been with Vets4Pets Perth since 2021 and started off as a part time CCA, but soon after became full time. The best part of my job is that every day is different. As a CCA, we have the honour and pleasure of seeing clients and patients from the beginning of their journey with us and through to the end. I am incredibly lucky to work with an amazing team. My fellow CCA's help make every day fun and fulfilling and I am very proud to work for Vets4Pets.
