Meet the team

Coming Soon!

My name is Jennifer and I have been in the veterinary world for approximately 12 years now. I qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2016 and have since developed a passion for Nutrition and the care of exotic pets. I am currently studying to complete my NCert in Small Animal Nutrition. I am also a fluent welsh speaker. I have a menagerie of pets which take up most of my spare time, I enjoy long dog walks and if I have to be confined indoors I love to crochet.

I am a Registered Veterinary Nurse with 10 years experience. I also hold additional qualifications in canine behaviour, dentistry and consultations. I have recently been working in an emergency clinic. My main interests are emergency and critical care as well as anaesthesia and pain management.
In my free time I enjoy running puppy training classes, spending time with my family and keeping two crazy Cocker Spaniels entertained.
My role here at Bangor Vets4Pets is split between assisting the vet with surgery and consultations. I am really excited to be a part of the team we are building here and look forward to meeting you all and your fur babies.

I've worked in the veterinary industry since 2004, qualifying as an RVN in 2009. Training in a mixture of a charity hospital emergency clinic, a mixed farm and small animal Welsh practice, followed by a progressive small animal practice in the midlands. Soon after qualifying I went to work in a university referral hospital ICU, giving me an early insight into just how much is possible for our pets!
I have a passion for medical nursing, diagnostic imaging, transfusion medicine, emergency critical care and exotic species. After managing emergency clinics for some years I set up my own business in 2014, and for 7 years practiced as a locum up and down the country. Going anywhere from charity hospitals, exotics referrals, small rural practices, busy urban clinics, multi-disciplinary referral centres and even some time working with a traumatology specialist in Tenerife.
It was great to meet so many amazing teams, and experience different ways of working! I'm just as excited about being part of the growing team at Vets4Pets Bangor! I hope to begin to specialise in exotics species soon. I love to bring new ideas into practice and am always excited by innovations, new products, technologies and treatments to help our pets, and just as importantly you, their humans!
Outside of work I love to scuba dive, snorkel, paddleboard, walk, cycle or just generally get in the sea or a forest! I also have a keen interest in sustainability, hold a permaculture design certificate and am studying towards a degree in Environmental Management with the Open University, as well as learning Welsh.
I had my last dogs for 18 years and have yet to find space in my heart for another.

Hi I’m Jess I've worked for Vets4Pets since April 2015 and started out as a receptionist, I was then promoted to Practice Manager which i have been for 2 Vets4Pets surgeries. I've lived in North Wales all my life and started work as a trainee Veterinary Nurse/Receptionist in 1999 and have worked in 3 local practices both small and large animal which I loved. I have worked in the Veterinary Industry for over 24 years, I love my job and I love meeting new and old clients and getting to know everyone. My spare time is spent with my husband and 3 daughters (who keep us very busy with mum and dads taxi service). We have 4 cats; 13 year old Chester, 6 year old Bella and Derek and the crazy cat of the house Bobby who is 5 years old, we also have 2 dogs; 8 year old Fred the cockerpoo and 3 year old Flo.

Hi, I’m Sara. Having worked in advertising for many years, I decided that I needed to combine my love of animals with some existing skills, so thought that a Client Care Advisor would fit the bill. It proved to be a great move, as I get to see an array of lovely pets and their owners. It’s great to be part of a team who care so much about your pets.
I’ve recently moved back home to North Wales from living in Yorkshire, so I’m looking forward to putting my hiking boots back on to explore our beautiful mountains and beaches.

Hi, my name is Mercedes (I’m also known to some as Sadie)
My dream job as a child was to be a vet as I love animals. I absolutely love meeting new people and their pets in my role as Client Advisor. I own a dog myself who is my absolute world, it is so lovely meeting people who really care about their pet/pets as much as I do mine.
Vets4Pets Bangor, North Wales is committed to bringing you affordable, high quality care via a modern, well equipped practice, including a lab, pharmacy, and digital x-ray. Plus, on site car parking too!
The friendly team can't wait to meet all of their new clients!
