I graduated from the Royal Veterinary College London in 2012 and came to join the Biggleswade team in 2019 as a permanent Vet. Before this I worked for Luton Vets4pets for 7 years. I enjoy all areas of veterinary work but I particularly love soft tissue surgery. In my free time I love music, I play the piano and cello I also love going to the gym and spending time with my family and friends.

A life changing opportunity allowed my to fulfil my dream and retrained as a Vet. I love combining my customer service skills from my pre-Vet life with my desired to help all the wonderful pets and their lovely owners. I enjoy all areas of veterinary work from meeting pets and their owners to all the fascinating work behind the scenes with the excellent V4P Biggleswade team. When not at work, I enjoy family time with my husband and son as well as my two fur babies, Harry the Irish Setter and noisy Jenny Any Dots the Bengal cat. I love being outdoors walking miles with my family & hound as well as looking after my garden. I’m also the Akela with a local Cub Pack.

I graduated as a vet from the Royal Veterinary College in 2008. I completed two junior training scholarships in small animal medicine and surgery before settling into general practice. Before joining in 2019, I worked in various small animal veterinary practices and spent some time volunteering as a vet abroad. My interests include radiography and medicine. Outside of work, I enjoy power-lifting and baking cakes. I also spend my time walking and cuddling my Italian Greyhound pup, Dobby.

I am the Head Nurse and Pet Health Counsellor here at Biggleswade. I have always had a keen interest in working with animals since a young age; I have worked within veterinary practices since 2004 even before I left school. I completed a BSc Honours degree in Veterinary Nursing in 2011 and have since worked at Vets4Pets. In February 2014, I helped start up a new Vets4pets practice in Luton Gipsy Lane and have worked there since, previously working in their standalone practice for many years before this. I enjoy running nurses clinics, interacting with the clients and getting to know their pets. Outside of work I love spending time with my family and German Shepherds, and lots of different outdoor fitness activities.

Sarah returned from maternity leave in June 2023, after having a little girl in October.

Hello, my name is Kathryn!

I joined Vets4Pets Biggleswade as a receptionist in October 2020, in a year that was very uncertain, I found a role/place and work colleagues that make everyday better!

I have always had such a huge love for animals, having hamsters, rabbits, fish and many many dogs all throughout my life; although I do have a slight fear of cats!

So getting to help clients and their furbabies, even in the smallest of ways, is a huge satisfaction and what makes me love my role here!

I love to take my boy Harvey for long walks across the fields and woods, throwing his beloved ball.

There is really no love like the love of a fur baby!

Kathryn has now returned from Maternity Leave after having a beautiful baby girl in December 2023.
