Meet the team

Hi, my name is Liv. I graduated as a vet from the University Berlin (Germany) in 2008 and spent 5 years in a private mixed Practice in South Gloucestershire. I completed my doctor thesis in 2010 in an Orthopaedic research project at the University Charite Berlin. I joined Companion Care Bridgend as a Partner in June 2013. I am currently working towards GPCert/PSC in dermatology.
My interests in small animal medicine are in particular Endocrine Diseases and Dermatology. Outside of work I enjoy driving my ponies through the country lanes with my little dachshund Hugo by my side.

Lily qualified as a vet in 2019. Originally from Italy, she studied in Budapest and then lived in Ireland before moving to Wales and joining the team in September 2020. When not working, she loves going hiking with her three rescue dogs.


I started Studying Veterinary Nursing September 2015 at the University of Bristol. I graduated in the July 2019. I recently joined the Companion Care team in April 2019. In my spare time I play dodgeball and care for my rescue Cats Loki & Benji.

Danielle joined our team in 2019 as a veterinary care assistant, she then went on to study for her vet nursing and qualified in December 2021. Outside of work she spends her time caring for her horses, 3 dogs, and her rabbits. As you can tell she is a big animal lover!

Rhianydd starting working at vets4pets April 2022, Rhianydd has interests in aesthesia and pain/wound management. Rhianydd loves the outdoors with her collie fly and is also a member of a brass band.

I started working for companion care as a receptionist in the April 2018. I have a passion for customer Service and animal welfare. Outside of work I spend my time competing William my dressage horse, spending time with my French bulldog Blue and hiking mountains with Poppy my chocolate lab.

Tammy joined the team in November 2018, one of our first aiders. She spends her spare time playing referee to her cat Binx and adopted house rabbit Boris.

Oliver started working for Companion care in June 2019. He is one of our first aiders. In his spare time he keeps a healthy aquarium with his twin son

My name is Hugo and everyone at works knows me as Dr. Hugo and during the day I make sure that everybody is smiling when we are busy. In my private time I love to go running in the sand dunes investigating and looking for rabbits. After a long day at work I like to relax in front of the fire cuddled up with my friend Kitty.

Lizzie joined the team in September 2018 as a VCA. She is hoping to complete her training to qualify as a Veterinary nurse in the near future. In the meantime Lizzie enjoys riding her horse Banjo and spending time with her twin girls.

Jess joined the team in September 2020 as a VCA apprentice. She has recently passed her apprenticeship to qualify as a VCA. Jess likes helping to care for the older patients that come into the practice. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her friends and her cat Duchess.

Darcy started with us in 2020 as a veterinary care assistant but is now studying to become a veterinary nurse. Darcy loves to assist on patient care, so when your pets are with us for surgery she will be making sure they are comfortable and happy. Darcy spends her free time with her Labradors and riding her horses, she also loves to travel.

Megan returned to our the team in September 2021 as a Veterinary Care Assistant after completing her degree. She enjoys helping the vets with their day to day consults. Outside of work, Megan likes jumping her horse Dougie and walking her dog Digit.

Holly joined the team in September 2021. She enjoys lab work within the practice and learning on the job. In her spare time she enjoys socialising with her friends.

Sharon joined the reception team in July 2021. In her spare time she loves going to the gym and enjoys long walks. She also spends most of her time with her family and her trio of cats.

Jacqui has been part of our reception team since 2021. In her spare time she enjoys going for walks, gardening and home DIY. Jacqui does not have any pets because of her busy life however, she would love to have one of her own.

Hayley has been part of our reception team since 2021. When Hayley is not working, she spends most of her time tending to her 3 horses and competing her ex-racehorse horse Zara. She also spends a lot of her time going for walks with her daughter and her 2 dogs Boo and Stitch. Also lets not forget her two cats and hamster Pip.

Sophie is working part-time as a veterinary care assistant whilst she completes her nursing degree at usk college, Sophie likes to spend her spare time with her 2 horses cracker and Mr Darcy.

Ffion joined the team in January 2022 as a Veterinary Care Assistant. She is in her third year at university studying animal science and behaviour. In her spare time she partakes in cross-fit and works her 2 vizslas on her farm.

Caitlin joined Vets4Pets in January 2022 as a Veterinary Care Assistant. She enjoys spending time with her kitten Winnie and painting fine art.

Cath has returned after taking a career break to be a mum, Cath loves spending her spare time with her horse lady, her children Jayden and Olivia and her dogs teddy and chip.
