What's the best aspect of working for Vets4Pets? I enjoy the case continuity, so being able to see my cases back, which has not always been possible in previous practices I have worked at. Hello! I'm Veronica and I've been a Veterinary Surgeon at Vets4Pets Castleford since 2018. I love working with animals and people (especially cats!). When I'm not at work, I spend time at home with my soulmate Martin and our two amazing cats, Hobo and Leelu. I'm a proud neurodivergent with loads of hobbies. I'm especially passionate about gardening, art & illustration.. and cats - did I mention I love cats?
Hi I'm Mariam! Before joining Vets4Pets in 2023, I was studying in London for my Bachelors in Bio-Veterinary Sciences at the Royal Veterinary College. I later developed an interest in Animal Welfare & Conservation in Writtle University College, where I received my Postgraduate Certificate in 2017. While I learned a lot during this time, I always wanted to be a vet & travel around Europe, so I decided to move abroad to Trakia University in Bulgaria where I completed my Masters in Veterinary Medicine in 2023. After moving to beautiful Yorkshire, I've really enjoyed wandering around the local area, painting in my garden, & eating a lot of food!

Hello! My name is Georgina. I’ve worked at Vets4Pets Castleford since 2016, starting out as a student and becoming a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2017. In 2023 I completed my Advanced Certificate in Anaesthesia and Analgesia. I am currently the Vice President of The National Union of Registered Veterinary nurses which takes up a lot of my spare time. I love teaching and being a Clinical Coach for student veterinary nurses. I have 3 cats named Taffy, Rosy and Holly.
Hello, I have worked at Castleford Vets4Pets since 2018, originally as a locum nurse, covering maternity leave. When I'm not working I enjoy spending time with my family hiking, camping & holidaying. My daughter has 2 Giant African Land Snails called Turbo & Rapido 🐌
Hi. I have worked at Castleford Vets4Pets since we opened in February 2014 starting as a receptionist. In 2023, I took up the role of Practice Manager. I still get to cuddle pups and kittens and chat to clients which I love doing. When I am not at work, I am a busy mum to two boys, one now working himself and the other competes for GBR in trampolining so you can usually find me watching him train at the gym or at competitions. I have 2 cats, Blakey and Izzy and 2 dogs, Bou and Hunni.
What is your favourite animal and why? Big cats & cats in general.
What pets do you have and what are their names? I have two cats called Bear & Tom and Dave the dog.
What's the best pet name that you've ever come across? Bubble & Squeak for two cats.
What is your favourite famous animal? Mumble from Happy feet.
I started with Vets4pets Castleford in May 2023, Animals have always been a great passion of mine from a very young age. At home I have 2 dachshunds and 2 cats that love to disrupt my down time. On days off we love to have days out together seeing what mischief they can get up to. They are definitely small dogs with big personalities.
Vets4Pets Castleford is committed to bringing you affordable, high quality care via a modern, well equipped practice, including a lab, pharmacy, digital x-ray and ultrasound. Plus, on site car parking too!
The friendly team can't wait to meet all of their new clients!
