Hi I'm Mariam! Before joining Vets4Pets in 2023, I was studying in London for my Bachelors in Bio-Veterinary Sciences at the Royal Veterinary College. I later developed an interest in Animal Welfare & Conservation in Writtle University College, where I received my Postgraduate Certificate in 2017. While I learned a lot during this time, I always wanted to be a vet & travel around Europe, so I decided to move abroad to Trakia University in Bulgaria where I completed my Masters in Veterinary Medicine in 2023. After moving to beautiful Yorkshire, I've really enjoyed wandering around the local area, painting in my garden, & eating a lot of food!

Since being with Vets4Pets in 2011, I have moved over to Castleford Branch in 2013 and become our British Sign Language Team Member.
You’ll usually find me with enjoying a cuppa whilst watching Crime Documentaries or listening to all things 90s/Noughties. 🎶
However, I spend most of my time with my family including my tabby cat, Athena with the persona of a tiger.

Hi. I have worked at Castleford Vets4Pets since we opened in February 2014 starting as a receptionist. In 2023, I took up the role of Practice Manager. I still get to cuddle pups and kittens and chat to clients which I love doing. When I am not at work, I am a busy mum to two boys, one now working himself and the other competes for GBR in trampolining so you can usually find me watching him train at the gym or at competitions. I have 2 cats, Blakey and Izzy and 2 dogs, Bou and Hunni.

I started with Vets4pets Castleford in May 2023, Animals have always been a great passion of mine from a very young age. At home I have 2 dachshunds and 2 cats that love to disrupt my down time. On days off we love to have days out together seeing what mischief they can get up to. They are definitely small dogs with big personalities.

Vets4Pets Castleford is committed to bringing you affordable, high quality care via a modern, well equipped practice, including a lab, pharmacy, digital x-ray and ultrasound. Plus, on site car parking too!

The friendly team can't wait to meet all of their new clients!
