Cheryl Lucas
Practice Owner & Veterinary Surgeon

Born and brought up in London, I was determined to be a vet for as long as I can remember! My earliest memories are of playing with our family spaniel. I graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in London in 2009 and have worked in small animal practice ever since, mostly in London, but spent 4 years volunteering and working in Australia and South East Asia. Having now settled in East London/Essex I decided to open Vets4Pets in Chadwell Heath in early 2014 and haven't looked back. I thrive on providing a fantastic service to our clients and the best possible care for all patients. My special interest is in surgery, and have recently completed an RCVS certificate. Outside of work I have a son and a daughter, a crazy Cocker Spaniel Amelie and a British Blue cat Albert. I When I'm not working I can usually be found walking in the forest, at the gym or exploring overseas. I am now part of the CBBC's Pets Factor Vet Team!
I'm Louie, a proud East Londoner with strong ties to Gibraltar.
I recently graduated as a veterinary surgeon from the University of Liverpool and have gained valuable experience working with all creatures, great and small - at London Zoo, with an animal charity in Thailand, and more.
Now, in my first role as Vets4Pets Chadwell Heath, I am enjoying every opportunity to meet and care for your pets.
I have always aspired to work with animals, but outside of work, I am an avid sailor, a sea scout leader, and a drummer for an East London samba band.

She joins us from a busy out of hours practice, bringing experience and a kind, caring nature to all patients!
Kirby has a horse called Meg, 3 Ragdolls Squishy, Rocky and Boo, a domestic kitty called Daisy and a son called Jack who all keep her busy when she is not at work caring for our clients and their pets
Lauren Joins Us From Another Vets4Pets, And Has Been
Working With animals since a young age, she's been with
vets4pets for around 2 years now and has picked up some
wonderful things, and always provides a wonderful caring
attitude to everything she does.
Meet Charlotte.
Charlotte joins us with a level 3 diploma in equine management and a Bachelor of Equine Science with Honors. Charlotte has a horse called Rosie and her foal named Dice. She also has a flat coat retriever called Nala. When Charlotte is not working you will find her walking Nala, swimming or caring for her horses.

Your call will be handled by a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) from our trusted partners at Veteris, who will assess your pet’s needs. If required, they can arrange a home visit or recommend a consultation at their Intensive Care Unit. Veteris provide advanced care at home, including IV fluids, blood tests, and ultrasounds. If hospitalisation is necessary, your pet will be transferred to Veteris-Shoreditch at 51 Hoxton Square, N1 6PB London for continuous care. Veteris vets use low-stress techniques, and all treatment details are promptly added to your pet’s records at Vets4Pets Chadwell Heath.
