Advanced services

At Vets for Pets, we have invested considerably in our team and kit to make a number of advanced services available to our clients. We also accept referrals from other practices.

Orthopaedics and fracture repair

Our veterinary team have undertaken advanced training to allow us to perform orthopaedic surgery in our practice. If your pet develops an abnormality involving their skeleton or joints, such as elbow dysplasia, a patella (kneecap) that gets stuck, or a torn cruciate ligament, an orthopaedic procedure may help them.

Following my graduation from the University of Thessaly (Greece) in 2013, I moved to Germany where I worked at a referral hospital for 3 years. Since 2017 I've been living in the UK and have worked in several first and second small animal practices across the country. I am a certificate holder in Ophthalmology and Diagnostic Imaging in small animals. Constant development of my skills and providing the best possible care to my patients has always been my priority. Outside of work I enjoy travelling and being with friends.

I qualified in Portugal back in 2018 and came to the UK the same year looking for a different experience. I have worked in a small animal practice for 2 years before joining Vets4Pets in July this year. I am really enjoying working in this practice! I have a special interest in internal medicine and I am particularly keen on the medical management of chronic diseases such as diabetes, kidney disease and thyroid and adrenal conditions. In my free time I like to go outdoors, spend time at home with my two cats and cook for friends. I am looking forward to see and help your pets!

I graduated in 2012 from the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn Poland. I love travelling and animals and got involved in a few projects abroad. I have worked alongside locals in India Tamil Nadu, in a charity campaign to help with neutering stray dogs and rabies prevention. Shortly after I worked in a similar charity project in Spain where I was helping stray greyhounds which were abandoned after racing.
After moving to the UK, I took a 3 month intensive theoretical and practical course for Emergency and Critical Care in small animals and after locuming for a few years I decided that was time to settle and join the team at Vets4Pets Coventry Walsgrave, which was my favourite practice during my locum trips.
I love helping people and animals and absolutely adore German Shepherds.

I have been in Veterinary Practice since leaving school in 2010 and did my Veterinary Nursing Diploma at Moreton Morrell College. I spent a few years at a big practice in Birmingham where I gained lots of experience with a wide range of small animals and exotic animals. I work full-time at the practice and you will most likely find me in the consultation room. At home I have a young family with two small children, plus 3 dogs; Keelo (Staffordshire bull terrier) Lola (Cross Breed) and Odon (deaf English Bull Terrier) who are no strangers to the practice and regularly come to work with me. I also have an assortment of cats (6 to be exact), I have this thing where I can't say no to an animal in need and end up bringing everything homeless home with me! I will help in every way I can and love making pets happy and healthy again.

I started here at Vets4Pets in May 2022 not long after qualifying as an RVN. I thoroughly enjoy my time here, the team are fabulous to work with. I have always had a passion for animals ever since I was very young. Since finishing Secondary school, I started college studying animal care/management and worked on a range of farms, kennels and catteries which I enjoyed. Veterinary Nursing is such a rewarding job and my main interests include wound management, inpatient care and surgical nursing/anaesthesia. I have a rescue dog called Theo, he is a patterdale terrier. He loves cuddles and long walks, so we spend most of our time exploring the outdoors.

I'm the proud owner of a 3 year old maltipoo, Luna, and a syrian hamster called Remy. Remembering a time when I have not loved and been interested in animals is impossible and I have cared for many animals over the years; dogs, cats, rabbits, rats and hamsters. It has always been my life long dream to become a nurse and be part of a team that makers a major difference in improving the health and welfare of animals in Veterinary practice. In my spare time I love baking, making crafts, browsing charity shops and going on long country dogs walks.

I finished my studies at college in 2011 then started working at a vets in Birmingham, my home town, where I spent many years. Here is where I rescued my beloved little French Bulldog, Ronnie, who I love dearly. I have always loved animals ever since I was a little girl and I thrive on caring for them.

I started here at Coventry in 2015 as a Veterinary Care Assistant. I then went on a career break to see if there was anything else I'd be better at. I realised after nearly 2 years that it wasn't for me and I missed that close relationship with the clients and patients at the vets, so I returned back to Coventry in 2017, where I have thoroughly loved being back and seeing old faces.

Over the years in the veterinary industry I have acquired 3 dogs, 2 very cheeky little boys Harvey (Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Oscar (the crazy spaniel!) and Ronnie wiggle-bum, (my frenchie) and not forgetting my beautiful black and white cats, Tinkerbell and Alfie. I love to unwind at the gym and I enjoy horse riding when I get the chance.

My name is Cristina and I am the Practice manager and Joint Venture Partner at Vets4Pets Coventry Walsgrave. I have been around animals from a very young age and years ago I started rescuing animals in Romania and discovered my passion and love for them. In 2013, when I moved to the UK I knew I wanted to work with animals and got a job at the clinic as a receptionist. I slowly worked my way up and 3 years later got the job of my dreams as a Practice manager. This is living proof that everyone can achieve what they want if they work hard and with passion. In my spare time I love spending time with my three rescued cats, Phoebe, Joey and Blue and with my two dogs, Didi and Buddy. When I'm not at work I love travelling the world, meeting new people and discovering new cultures. I look forward to seeing you and your furry friends at the practice.

I studied at the University of Suffolk and completed my FDSC in wildlife management and conservation back in 2012. After finishing University I wasn't completely sure what I wanted to do going forward. It took a few years before I found myself at Vets4Pets Coventry Walsgrave but I have loved it from the moment I joined the team. The team here are very welcoming and will strive to give the best care possible for all of your pets.

I have obtained my SQP qualification meaning I can dispense and advise on certain Veterinary medicines.

I try to bring a smile to everyone I meet and love to have cuddles with all the furry friends that visit the practice. I have a little black cat of my own called Kyo and a Labradoodle called Loki.
