Since graduating from the RVC, Andrew has worked in small animal practices in both the United Kingdom and the United States. Andrew enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine but he has a particular interest in surgery. Andrew is currently completing a post graduate certificate in surgery.

Hi, my name is Izabela, I’m one of the vets here at Denton Vets for Pets.
I qualified as a veterinary surgeon 11 years ago and have been a part of our Denton team for the last 8 years. I enjoy most aspects of veterinary medicine, particularly ophthalmology.
I have a rescue cat called Cwaniak (aka Cheeky) who loves spending time outside and cuddles on the sofa. In my spare time I enjoy hiking with my husband and two kids, baking and gardening.
I graduated from the Royal veterinary college in 2013 and practiced in Seattle, USA for five years before moving back to the UK. My husband Andrew and I travelled all over the UK looking for the right veterinary practice to make our home. We chose Denton Vets for pets as we found the staff were some of the most caring and dedicated people we have ever worked with and the clients and their pets equally as caring and lovely. We are very happy here at Denton Vets for pets and now as practice owners we will become familiar faces.
I have a keen interest in Cardiology and I am working towards a cardiology certificate with Liverpool vet school. I also enjoy dermatology and I am passionate about keeping our geriatric pets comfortable and happy.
In my spare time I can be found in the garden maintaining our vegetable patch, working on a home DIY project or out exploring the countryside. Andrew and I are kept very busy with our three young daughters, a cat, three dogs, two rabbits and 11 chickens.
Hi, I’m Kat and I am Head Veterinary Nurse here at Denton. I have been with the practice since it opened in 2013 and have been in practice since September 2005. I qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in February 2009.
Part of my role involves being a clinical coach to our student, Ruby, I am also Radiation Protection Supervisor and the practice Health and Safety representative. My day to day duties and a qualified nurse include: assisting the vet in surgery, monitoring anaesthetics, running lab tests, taking X-rays, seeing nurse clinics and much more.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my husband and two young daughters, my family and friends. I have a 9 year old French Bulldog called Louie.
- I started my veterinary career in 2004, qualifying as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2008. Before joining Vets for Pets as Practice Manager I have been a Head Nurse for 12 years. I enjoy all aspects of veterinary nursing but especially nurse consults and medical nursing. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats and in my spare time I enjoy spending time with friends and family.
Hi, I'm Ruby! I'm a student veterinary nurse here at Denton vets for pets. I'm so lucky to have started my training here the past few months. Before this you might have seen me as work experience since September 2022
I have a few pets of my own, one being my black labrador Misty, and the others being my 2 guinea pigs, Harry and Louis. And like everyone else here, I love my pets so much.
When I'm not studying my nursing, I enjoy spending time with my friends, reading and going to lots of concerts.
I have always had a keen interest in animals and have previously owned dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, tortoise, snakes, geckos, several hamster species and fish. I started working in veterinary as a Veterinary care assistant in 2014 and carried out a qualification in Veterinary Care assistance. I further progressed to qualifying as a registered veterinary nurse in following years. I have a miniature dachshund called Dotty and two cats called Kevin and Cali (pictured). My hobbies include spending time with family on days out such as spending time in the outdoors or museum trips. I have interests in practice in assisting with nutritional queries, weight management and diabetes management. I look forward to seeing all our clients in practice.
Hiya I'm Vicky. I qualified in 2015 as a registered veterinary nurse and since then I have worked in orthopaedic referral, out of hours and general practice. I have interests in anaesthesia and behaviour when I’m at work. When I'm not nursing I love spending time with my two children and two dogs. I'm looking forward to meeting you all with your pets in the surgery.
Hi I'm Stef and I've been a Receptionist and VCA at Denton Vets for Pets since we opened in February 2013. I am a huge animal lover and over the years have owned small furries, winged, scaled and shelled. My most favourite being dogs and tortoise. I thoroughly enjoy my job and being part of a team that promotes pet wellbeing and preventive health care. Helping to cure sick and injured animals is very rewarding.
The best part about working here is the cuddles and sloppy kisses (and that's just from the staff Ha ha) I look forward to seeing you and your fur babies.
Charlotte has been at Vets for Pets since it opened back in February 2013 and has worked her way up to become the Head Receptionist. Charlotte loves meeting new people and helping them with all their needs, from puppy cuddles to helping customers with their insurance claims.
Charlotte has 2 pets, her little Chihuahua, Princess and her mischievous cat, Tigz.
In her spare time Charlotte enjoys going on adventures to Ireland and Scotland, as well as relaxing and watching Netflix with lots of snacks!
I'm Justine, one of the receptionists here at Vets for Pets, I am fortunate to work with the best team of hard working & fun loving people.
I don't have any pets of my own at the moment so working here gives me a daily fix of furry ( sometimes slobbery ) cuddles.
When not in work you will often see me with a cocktail in one hand & cake in the other whilst enjoying a scare fest of horror movies.
Vets for Pets Denton is committed to bringing you affordable, high quality care via a modern, well equipped practice, including a lab, pharmacy, digital x-ray and ultrasound. Plus, on site car parking too!
The friendly team can't wait to meet all of their new clients!
