Since my graduation from The Royal Veterinary College in London, I have acquired several years experience in first opinion practices. The first two years of my career were spent in a mixed role (farm, equine and small animals/pets) in North Cambridgeshire, but I most enjoy looking after small animals. So I decided to make the move back to the West Country to specialise in this. My subsequent roles have been in Gloucestershire and Bristol covering all aspects of companion animal care, including both routine and emergency cases, with a particular interest in small animal medicine. In my spare time I have a young family to keep me busy and enjoy walking my dog George (a bouncy flat coated retriever). I also like baking and cake decorating when I have the time - cupcakes being a speciality!

I qualified in 2009 from the Lithuanian Veterinary Academy with a Masters Degree of Veterinary Medicine. After graduating I worked in a few small animal practices in Lithuania. I moved to the UK in 2015 and I have worked sole charge at a mobile surgery before starting in a busy small animal practice in Wales. I have joined Vets4Pets Gloucester Barnwood only recently, but I already feel like I have been here since it was open. I have a ginger cat, called Mimas, but in the nearest future I do hope to get a dog or better even two! :)I qualified in 2009 from the Lithuanian Veterinary Academy with a Masters Degree of Veterinary Medicine. I graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2013 and have worked solely in small animal practice. I am interested in all aspects of general practice, in particular soft tissue surgery and preventative medicine. In my spare time, I enjoy running and dog walking.

I qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2005 following a Degree and NVQ at Hartpury College. My first nursing position was in a large mixed practice in Birmingham where I stayed for 9 years, completing the City and Guilds Exotic Nursing Certificate in 2010. In 2011 I moved to Gloucestershire and spent 4 years in a small animal and exotic animal practice, gained the Institute of Leadership and Management Clinical Coaching certificate and coached a number of students to become qualified veterinary nurses. I have been with Vets4Pets Gloucester Barnwood since the practice opened in 2015 and have enjoyed the journey so far of seeing the practice develop and grow.

Outside of work I am kept busy by 3 dogs who I have competed in a variety of sports including agility, flyball, tracking and rally over the years. In 2019 my youngest dog and I were chosen to represent the South West Region of the UK at Crufts in the inter-regional rally obedience competition where we came a respectable 4th.

I qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2004 whilst working in a Mixed Animal Veterinary Practice in Herefordshire. During my 12 years in mixed practice I gained experience in all aspects of veterinary nursing. I also trained as a Canine Hydrotherapist working in a modern Rehabilitation Centre. I joined Vets4Pets in September 2016 following a career break to start my family. I am thoroughly enjoying being back in practice and working as part of such a friendly and motivating team. At home, we currently own a rescue Lurcher dog called Hoby, two loving rescue cats, two cheeky little guinea pigs and a Corn snake named Dave!

Originally from Gloucester, I began my career in animal care by studying Animal Management at Hartpury College. I then moved to Cardiff to study Zoology at Cardiff University. During this time I began volunteering at a local veterinary practice whilst studying. I made the decision to leave university and dedicate myself to Veterinary Nursing full time. I have since qualified after attending the diploma course at Bridgend College, and have recently returned to Gloucester to be nearer friends and family. I began working for Vets4Pets in December of 2018 and have loved meeting clients and their pets, building rapport with them through nursing clinics. Keeping me busy at home are Bruce the rescued Lab x American Bulldog, Jonesy the rescue cat, 3 snakes and a Bearded Dragon, George! Outside of work you’ll either find me running, walking Bruce or riding my motorbike.

I graduated in 2011 with a degree in Animal Science. Since then I’ve gained experience in various work placements and retail roles, before going on to join the team at Gloucester Barnwood. For the past year I have volunteered, once a week, at a local wildlife hospital. It’s a very rewarding experience and I feel incredibly lucky to be able to see the variety of wild animals they rehabilitate. Though I have to admit the hedgehogs are my favourite. At home I have Freddie, my rather spoilt guinea pig affectionately known as ‘chunky’.
