Meet the team


Romana qualified in 2018 in Portugal and joined the team in January 2019. Her main interests include dermatology and internal medicine.
In her spare time, Romana likes to travel, read and spend time with her Cat Oreo and Dog Emi.

Rita Moita
Veterinary Surgeon
MRCVS

Maria qualified as an RVN in 2010, but had been in practice since 2005. She has worked at several different practices before taking maternity leave to have her son. She then worked for the team for a year before taking Maternity leave recently to have her daughter. In 2022 Maria was promoted and became our Head Nurse.
At home, as well as her son and daughter she has two cats. In her spare time she enjoys jogging and Pilates.

Emily joined the team in August 2016 after moving from Essex to Gravesend where she worked for eight years at a busy Veterinary Practice. She qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 2014 and has a keen interest in Canine Behaviour.
At home she has three Dogs, Bonnie, Shadow and Storm as well as three Terrapins which keep her busy in her spare time.

Angie has been nursing for more than 10 years after qualifying in 2001, over the past five years she had been a Locum Nurse working temporarily at numerous Vet Practices. In December 2016 she joined the team on a short term basis for maternity cover and in July 2017 was offered the permanent position.
She has two cats called Lettuce (who really is wet) and Kooky who is crazy. In her spare time she enjoys Swimming, DIY, Socialising and writing poetry.

Sarah joined us in March 2018 first as a volunteer. She then officially joined our team later that year and begun completing her Veterinary Care Assistant Training. She has recently completed this and is in the process of enrolling onto the Nurse Training Course.

Tasha joined our team in late 2018 as a trainee nurse.

Lauren has been working in practice since 2017, joining our team in 2021. Lauren has a keen interest in physiotherapy and is currently training to be a certified physiotherapist.
At home Lauren has two dogs, Jessie and Dexter and is a slave to her cat Rolo. In her free time Lauren can be found at the stables, spending time with her horse Hugo. Lauren also enjoys baking.

Abi joined the team in October 2015 not long after the practice first opened. After going on Maternity leave to have her daughter, Abi initially came back as Practice Administrator before being promoted again to Practice Manager. Abi and Paul, together own the practice.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her daughter, taking her on walks with their Hungarian Vizsla Ruby, their Cocker Spaniel Angus and snuggling with her Ragamuffin cat Bruno.

Jo joined the team in 2018 after being a member of the Pets at Home team. She can be found on our Reception desk.
In her spare time Jo enjoys holistic therapies and spending time with her kids and pets.

Michelle joined the team in 2019 initially as a client care advisor, after taking a break to have her son she returned back to our reception desk. More recently she has been promoted to Practice Administrator.
Outside of work Michelle enjoys spending time with her family.
