Advanced services
We have invested considerably in our team and kit to make a number of advanced services available to our clients. We also accept referrals from other practices.
Orthopaedics
Our veterinary team have undertaken advanced training to allow us to perform orthopaedic surgery in our practice. If your pet develops an abnormality involving their skeleton or joints, such as elbow dysplasia, a patella (kneecap) that gets stuck, or a torn cruciate ligament, an orthopaedic procedure may help them.
Ultrasound
We are pleased to be able to offer ultrasound scanning in practice, which is a painless way to look inside your pet’s body to find out what’s going on.

Meet the team
After graduating from the University of Zimbabwe, I had the opportunity of running a veterinary practice near the Zimbabwe / Mozambique border, treating all manner of pets large and small, and wildlife. Five years later I moved to the UK, and worked in various practice settings (from sole charge to hospitals, emergency centres) across London and Hertfordshire. I joined Vets4Pets six years ago. I enjoy all aspects of small animal medicine and surgery and have pursued and completed postgraduate studies at the University of Liverpool with a goal of always providing the best care possible for my patients.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, travelling, sport, music and reading. I have two pets of my own, Phineas the goldfish and Rosie the cockatiel.
I am originally from Newcastle but qualified from the Royal Veterinary College, London in July 2023. Alongside my studies I worked in the intensive care unit at the Queen Mother Hospital for Animals as a care assistant and developed an interest in emergency and critical care. I am passionate about making veterinary visits as stress-free as possible by adapting my approach to each individual pets needs and plan to do the ‘Fear Free Pets’ and ‘Cat Friendly Veterinarian’ certificates . I was never allowed pets growing up so when I moved out for university I soon rescued a cat. She was called Margot and was abandoned on the streets by her original owners and was in need of a retirement home for her last few years. I now have a whippet called Yuki (who I think is cocker spaniel in disguise) and a cat called Simba
I have been a Registered Veterinary Nurse since 2011, and have worked in both general and emergency practice. Starting as a student and working my way up to head nurse, general practice has been my preferred sector. Having obtained my Graduate Diploma in Professional and Clinical Veterinary Nursing last year, I am delighted to have become a Joint Venture Partner this year. I look forward to developing the practice further and offering the best standard of care possible to all our patients
I have two dogs, B a twelve year old, Staffordshire bull terrier, and Jabba, an eight year old French bulldog who I hand reared from 5 days old. We enjoy going for our countryside walks and finding new places to roam.
I am currently a veterinary care assistant but will soon be beginning my training to become a veterinary nurse. I have grown up with dogs all my life but have a passion for all species. I have two leopard geckos at home, along with my fourteen year old cocker spaniel, Ripper.
In the future I would like to pursue a career in hydrotherapy and physiotherapy and learn new ways to improve the lives of animals in my care.
I joined the Vets4Pets group in 2014.
I found my passion and love for the veterinary field when I was living in the Emerald Isle, working in a family owned clinic. I landed on my feet when I returned to London with Vets4Pets and was given a great opportunity to complete their practice manager course.
I have found that working with Vets4Pets enables me to combine my love for animals and business.
My family would not be complete without our crazy energetic border collie named Gus, and our hand reared cat Junior who joined our family at 3weeks old.
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my daughter, visiting family and travelling to different national parks.
I recently joined the team and have enjoyed every minute of it. No day is the same, and it’s a pleasure to meet so many of your adorable pets. I currently have two cats, a sassy seven year old Tabby called Cleo, and a mischievous two year old called Shadow who takes great pleasure in jumping out from behind the curtains to scare us. I have owned a variety of animals, ranging from ferrets to ducks. In the future I’d like to welcome a fluffy German Shepherd to the family.
Vets4Pets Hatfield is committed to bringing you affordable, high quality care via a modern, well equipped practice, including a lab, pharmacy, digital x-ray and ultrasound. Plus, on site car parking too!
The friendly team can't wait to meet all of their new clients!
