Meet the team
Tammy graduated from Zaragoza Veterinary College in 2000. She started working in a small animal veterinary practice and a zoological park as veterinary assistant that year showing early interest for exotic medicine from the very beginning. She then moved to Alicante (Spain) and has been working ever since as a small animal and exotic veterinary surgeon in different parts of Valencia and Alicante, having always a strong bias to Avian and small mammal medicine and surgery. Between 2008 and 2012, Tammy was requested to give several lectures in Italy and Spain about Bird and small mammal emergency medicine, husbandry, anaesthesia and surgery. In 2013, she moved to the UK and has been working in small animal practices since then. She joined our practice in April 2014.
When she is not at work, Tammy likes socialising, going to the gym and shopping, and goes to Spain every time she can to visit family and friends. She also loves spending time with her family as much as she can, especially her little boy Marcos. Tammy has a Postgraduate diploma in Small animal surgery and Anaesthesia from the University of Barcelona. She´s got two bunnies, Cookie Monster and Elmo who is a giant rabbit. Tammy is currently studying a certificate in Exotic Animal medicine and surgery.
I qualified as a registered Veterinary Nurse in August 2017.I have been with the Kings Lynn companion care practice since July 2011. I have worked in a few other practices. I am a clinical coach, a surgical nurse, a qualified First-aider and I am currently doing a diploma in feline nursing.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my friends, seeing movies, going out and generally relaxing at home with my two dogs, two cats and two snakes.
I started with Vets4Pets in 2016 as work experience, I qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2020 and have been employed with Vets4Pets ever since. I have since gained a further certificate in an Advanced Programme in Veterinary Nursing of Small Animals.
I have a passion for all small animals. In my spare time, I enjoy hanging out with my boyfriend and walking my three dogs, I have a Siberian Husky, Alaskan Malamute and Staffie x Border Collie. I also own 13 guinea pigs and 2 rats.
In memory of Zach:
Zach joined our team in September 2016 as a Kennel Assistant. Instantly we could see that we was a highly motivated individual with a true passion in caring for animals. This lead Zach onto the path to becoming a Student Veterinary Nurse.
Sadly Zach passed away in January 2020, which has left a huge void in our practice.
Zach is greatly missed each day but will forever be in our hearts.
Elaine joined Vets4Pets in November 2015 as a receptionist after working at Argos for 31 years. She has been happily married to Alan and has 2 amazing daughters, Natasha and Claire and 3 amazing grandchildren, Zach, Summer and Frankie. At home Elaine has 2 rabbits, Charlie and Roxy.
And at work she likes to share her experience with rabbits to new rabbit owners which she is very passionate about.
