Hello, my name is Lenka Soffer and I am the Joint Venture Partner of the Letchworth Practice. I graduated from the University of Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacology in Košice, Slovakia in 2001. After my graduation I moved to Israel where I lived and worked for five years. I love working with small animals but if I had to pick one species to be my favourite it would be goats as my parents kept goats when I was a child! When I am not working I love watching movies with my daughter, travelling and would love to try sky diving one day. I have three pets of my own; Bree the Cavalier King Charles spaniel, Bruno the Staffordshire bull terrier and Cous Cous the cat. !

Hello, I’m Francesca. I graduated in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Camerino, in Italy, in 2022. I very recently moved to the UK to start my job as a new graduate at Vets for Pets in Letchworth and got to meet all the amazing people from the team. Even though I love all pets, cats are my biggest passion and I am currently studying to get the GP cert in Feline Practice. Since I left my lovely tortoiseshell cat in Italy with my parents, I am looking forward to adopting a pet soon! In my free time I like travelling to new places, cooking, making crochet amigurumis, exercising to Kpop music and reading.

Hello, I’m Alex! I graduated from the RVC in 2024 and started working at Vets4Pets Letchworth in January 2025.

Helping animals get better has always been a true passion for me, one that made me pursue this career after having finished a degree in Mechanical Engineering. I enjoy all aspects of Veterinary Medicine but I have a keen interest in Surgery and Diagnostic Imaging.

Back home in Greece, my parents have a lovely Akita that I always look forward to spending time with every time I visit. I don’t currently have any pets, but in the near future I look forward to adopting a mischievous combination of a puppy and a kitten. In my free time, I enjoy playing tennis, learning Spanish, reading, and collecting rare books.

Prior to completing my veterinary nursing qualification I completed a degree in Animal Management and worked at a safari park, kennels and the college animal unit. I hope to eventually do conservation work abroad with Orangutans. At home I live with my partner, our little girl Isla and our Border Terrier named Molly. In my spare time I love cuddling up at home with my family and spending time with my friends.

My name is Rebekah and I have been a registered veterinary nurse for 8 years.

I began my career as a veterinary care assistant and instantly fell in love with the job. I am very passionate about anaesthesia, post op care and meeting all the furies during nurse consults.

After working in a veterinary hospital for 6 years, I joined the team here at Vets4Pets in 2019 and became part of the family. It is a fantastic team who all love what they do and I am so proud to be part of it.

I have two beautiful cats called Inca & Olive, a very happy and energetic 4 year old son, Leo who thinks he is a cat and a seven month old Daughter called Skye.

In my spare time I love going to the cinema, having meals out and spending time with my family.

I look forward to getting to know all the clients and their fur babies.

I have always been an animal type of person. I live at home with my son James, our big fluffy cat Mr Cole and we have recently got a loopy spaniel cross puppy called Fleur. When you are passing by please pop in and say hello, it would be lovely to meet you and your pet!
