Meet the team
My name is Gabby and I joined the lovely team here at Middleton in April. I have worked as a vet for 21 years and I am currently working towards a certificate in advanced surgery. I really enjoy my job as I love working with animals. I have two dogs called Argo and Tami and a cat named Melody. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my children and going on walks in the countryside with Argo.
I have always been an animal lover and my dream job has always been to become a Veterinary Nurse. I started studying at the College of Animal Welfare in January 2019 and I am on track to qualify as an RVN for the end of 2020, fingers crossed! I love how every day at work is different and I love meeting all the patients, I have a soft spot for our feline friends.. I’ve developed the “crazy cat lady” reputation! at home I have two mischievous cats called Tiggy and Smudge. In my spare time I enjoy socialising with my boyfriend, friends and family, I’m a big foodie so I enjoy anything that is food related!
Student Veterinary Nurse
I have been with Vets4pets since June 2017 and started my journey here as a Receptionist. I love meeting all of the clients and their pets each day, old or new I really enjoy being a part of their care. Each day always brings something new and exciting and it is always a pleasure to help everyone. My love of animals led to my choice of study in Animal Care and Animal Management at Hopwood Hall College, after college I worked in the retail sector for a while before coming back to the area I enjoy best. I have a dog of my own, Juke the Shar Pei. Juke is a gentle soul who loves to play with other dogs and enjoys a good long sleep. My free time is usually spent with my family. I have a keen interest in photography and love taking photos of wildlife and natural landscapes. I also love a good film and I am always visiting the cinema to see the latest releases. Reading is also one of my favourite pastimes, my all-time favourite book is The Lord of The Rings trilogy and I love it when I find a book I can’t put down.
Hi, I have worked at Vets4Pets Middleton since July. I have 2 German Shepherds in the family called Shep and Luna. I like the customer service side of the role as I like to chat to all clients that come in with their pets. In my spare time, I like going out for food with my partner and son. I also like going to music festivals with my friends.
From as early as I can remember I have always loved animals and being around them as much as I could. I knew there was nothing else I wanted to do other than work alongside animals. I have studied Animal Care and Animal Behaviour. Working for vets4pets has not only given me the perfect opportunity to work with animals but to further my eagerness to learn more. I enjoy coming to work everyday and I love meeting the clients and all their pets. No two days are the same and I learn something new everyday. Outside of work I am always busy, I have two children, an American Bulldog named Boo, three cats named Angel, Theo and Finn and 2 rabbits named Gizmo and Jack. I love to walk everyday with Boo and spending time with my children, I do a lot of reading and I enjoy doing crafts.
