We are open for essential care only
In line with government guidelines, we are only offering medically essential appointments, so please contact the practice team before travelling. Our opening hours may also vary, so please monitor our webpage to keep up to date with the latest information.
We are taking steps to help keep you and our colleagues safe:
- If you do need to visit, we ask that only one person per pet comes along, to help reduce the number of people in the waiting area at any one time.
- Social distancing is crucial at this time. When arriving, you may be required to call ahead and wait to be invited in by a member of our team. You will be informed if this is necessary when you call us to make your appointment.
- Once inside the practice, we ask that you please respect a two metre distance from our colleagues and other clients.
- We are only accepting card payments to help minimise contact between you and our colleagues.
- If you can’t visit the practice and are concerned about your pet’s health, please contact us to discuss available options.
We will continue to share regular updates here and on our Facebook page. We thank you for your patience at this time.
Meet the team
Hi my name is Sach, I was born and raised in London where I often spent my weekends volunteering in reptile dens. I studied in Nottingham where my time was split between Vet School and delivering pizzas for Dominos! I eventually settled down in my favourite part of the UK (Blyth) and I am privileged to have been welcomed into the Vets4Pets team in 2019.
As a vet I understand that you’re the expert when it comes to your pet, I see myself as the specialist in diagnosis and treatment, but working together we can ensure that your little one is always kept in tip-top condition. I love all creatures great and small but hold a special place in my heart for rabbits and reptiles. I also really enjoy internal medicine or any aspects of veterinary medicine that challenges me to put my 'thinking cap' on.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time on the beach with my wife and twin girls. I also love running and often take part in The Great North Run, marathons and other endurance events. I look forward to meeting you all soon!
I qualified in 1994 after starting my Veterinary Nursing life working in a large mixed practice in rural East Yorkshire. Since qualifying I have specialised in a busy small animal hospital environment & also an Equine hospital environment. I have also worked in the teaching sector gaining my Cert Ed. alongside other training qualifications. My clinical interests include Rabbit welfare & husbandry , also Nursing consultations & wound management In my spare time I compete my Irish Draught X horse Ellie, spend time with my rescue rabbits Herbert, Assos & Nefeli. I also enjoy hillwalking with my husband & sprocker spaniel Bramble,
