Vets4Pets North Tyneside opened in 2001 following my desire to set up a working environment where the team really felt valued and respected. We pride ourselves on being able to offer tailor made working arrangements to suit each individual’s needs and provide a balance between work and home life.

I knew I wanted to be a vet from a young age and had many different pets throughout my childhood. I qualified from Glasgow Vet School in 1995, and after an initial year in large animal practice, have worked as a small animal vet ever since in various different practices in the UK. I enjoy all aspects of my job and have a special interest in Western Veterinary Acupuncture, which I have been using since 2011 alongside conventional medicine to treat my patients. I moved to the North East in 2014 and love living in Northumberland. My two terriers Ruby and Peggy are great companions for exploring the many local beaches, country parks and forests we have here. I also enjoy spending time pottering in my garden, baking and eating cake!!

I qualified from Edinburgh University, studying at the same time as Frances (although I was a couple of years below I hasten to add - sorry Frances). I have worked in a variety of different practices in various parts of the country, following my husband’s career. This involved treating all “creatures great and small,” ranging from tiny hamsters to bull weighing over a tonne. I have 5 dogs and a horse (if my daughter lets me ride him!).

Hi I’m Demi. 2 years ago I moved to the UK from Greece to continue my career as a Veterinary Surgeon. Newcastle was my first choice to start my adventure in the UK and I have been loving it ever since. I qualified in 2016 and since then I have dedicated my time to ensure the upmost care for all my patients and I strive to be the best Veterinary Surgeon I can be. While I was in Greece I spent a lot of time volunteering to neuter and treat the stray animal population; this was very rewarding and how I ended up with my two boys Khal and Ivan which I rescued from the streets of Greece. My favourite thing to do is go to the beach with them where we can all race to the water and see who swims faster.... they always win!! I joined the team in October 2018 and I am extremely excited to be working at North Tyneside Vets4Pets.I am thrilled to have been welcomed into their work family and look forward to building memories together. together.

Hi my name is Sach, I was born and raised in London where I often spent my weekends volunteering in reptile dens. I studied in Nottingham where my time was split between Vet School and delivering pizzas for Dominos! I eventually settled down in my favourite part of the UK (Blyth) and I am privileged to have been welcomed into the Vets4Pets team in 2019.

As a vet I understand that you’re the expert when it comes to your pet, I see myself as the specialist in diagnosis and treatment, but working together we can ensure that your little one is always kept in tip-top condition. I love all creatures great and small but hold a special place in my heart for rabbits and reptiles. I also really enjoy internal medicine or any aspects of veterinary medicine that challenges me to put my 'thinking cap' on.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time on the beach with my wife and twin girls. I also love running and often take part in The Great North Run, marathons and other endurance events. I look forward to meeting you all soon!

My love for animals began at a very early age, I was raised on the family farm and never too far away from the sheep, dogs and cats. After leaving school at 16 I began my VN training and qualified in 1995. Over the last 20 years I have worked in several areas of the veterinary sector increasing my knowledge and skills along the way. I am very proud to have joined Frances, Simon and the rest of the team at Vets4Pets and look forward to meeting you and your pets in the future.

I have recently moved back to the area with my husband and son after working in a veterinary practice in the Caribbean. Whilst the sun and blue sea will be a miss, the green grass and Geordie banter brought me home. My family have ran a cattery in Morpeth for almost 20 years and so I can say I am very comfortable with cats! We lost our dog Storm to the big C in 2012 and he is still a massive loss and irreplaceable. When not at work I look after my little boy, I also paint pet portraits and when we can, we sneak out to Newcastle to dance salsa.

My co-workers and I are incredibly passionate about caring for our patients. I decided to get into nursing after completing a Zoology BSc Hons; I loved learning animal biology but soon realised my greatest passion was working with and helping animals. So I took a leap onto a new career path and never looked back! I have sleepy whippet called Ralph and two cats called Sheldon and Cooper. Sheldon also has several pet fish that he's extremely fond of.

I began working at North Tyneside Vets4Pets in February 2016 and am very happy to have transferred to the brand new Morpeth store when it opened in August that year. I feel very lucky to have such an interesting and rewarding job and to work with such a brilliant team. Every day is busy and no two days are the same! I enjoy meeting all of our clients but the thing I love most about my job is spending time with all of their beautiful pets. I am a total cat lover and am completely besotted with my lovely cats. We have Mr Miyagi who was named after my daughter's favourite movie character, and Narla, a rescue cat we adopted after she was brought into the practice and I fell in love with her. Away from work I enjoy spending time with my family (human and furry), especially Saturday pizza nights. I also enjoy a variety of exercise and I also love baking and cake decorating.

Hi I’m Rachael, I have worked on reception at the practice since June 2018, alongside my younger sister who is a veterinary nurse at the practice also. I have always had pets from birds, hamsters, guinea pigs and now I have Frank a very fluffy rescue rabbit and Buddy, who was also rescued. I believe every animal deserves a chance of happiness, and these two are very spoilt.

Vets4Pets Morpeth is committed to bringing you affordable, high quality care via a modern, well equipped practice, including a lab, pharmacy, digital x-ray and ultrasound. Plus, on site car parking too!

The friendly team can't wait to meet all of their new clients!
