Sally graduated from the University of Liverpool in 1998. Starting her career as a Mixed Animal Vet in North Yorkshire, Sally soon gravitated toward Small Animal Practice, allowing her to focus on providing exceptional care for companion pets.

Sally decided to make the move to Northern Ireland with her family, and we are delighted to have her join our team at Vets4Pets Newtownards, where she looks forward to getting to know our fantastic clients and their pets alike! Sally enjoys a wide range of medicine and surgery, and has a keen interest in progressing her ultrasound skills.

In her free time, Sally enjoys getting to spend quality time with her family and her own pets, including her cheeky ex-racehorse Frankie.

We hope you will enjoy getting to know Sally as much as we have!

Rhianna Hurst

Animal Nursing Assistant

Read Rhianna Hurst bio

Rhianna completed her studies in Animal Care and Animal Management at Belfast Met and CAFRE, and she qualified as an Animal Nursing Assistant in 2022. We were delighted to have Rhianna join our team at the start of 2023, as she is fantastic with both our patients and clients alike!

Rhianna has 2 dogs, a senior Jack Russell, Lola, and a super energetic young Dalmation called Lexi. Rhianna spends a lot of her free time trying to tire Lexi out through walking, throwing the ball and mentally stimulating her with lots of games and treats - a full time job in itself.

We're really excited to support Rhianna's progress as she works towards becoming a Registered Veterinary Nurse with Vets4Pets Newtownards!

Our Vets4Pets practice in Newtownards is run by a caring, professional and experienced team. We treat all pets as if they were our own and we're here to support you if your pet ever becomes unwell or needs medical treatment.

We opened our doors in May 2017, with the latest technology, in house lab, pharmacy, digital x-ray, ultrasound and surgical theatre. We offer Gold Standard care and always provide the best treatment possible.

Our team of Veterinary Surgeons are led by our Clinical Director, and supported by an excellent nursing team, ensuring your pets will always be cared for with compassion and expertise.

We have an onsite car park, with plenty of spaces for clients and we are and we are right on the edge of the town centre, which is great for locals who are unable to get transport.
