Meet the team
Rachel qualified from the University of Edinburgh in 1999 with a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery and has worked in small animal practice in the south-east of London ever since, apart from a year in 2006 spent teaching Veterinary Medicine at a University in central China. Rachel loves being a vet and enjoys being able to make a difference to the well being of animals and the families they belong to.
Rachel enjoys all aspects of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery and has a wealth of experience gained over the years which, combined with her teaching experience, allows her to support the rest of the team well. Rachel has special interests in ultrasonography, cardiology and exotic animal medicine, and she is very happy to be working with such a capable and caring team here. Outside work, Rachel enjoys spending her free time with her husband, two young children and kitten Lea, swimming and walking.
David qualified in 2017 from the University of Pretoria in South Africa and since further completed a MSc Veterinary science degree in wildlife anaesthesiology.
Since graduating, David worked as a state veterinarian dealing with livestock, aquaculture and companion animals before joining us in 2021. As you can probably tell, he has a keen interest in zoology and anaesthesiology!
Outside of work, David has a love for the arts and can often be seen painting, drawing and performing poetry. If you've ever spotted a doodle on your pets goody bag after surgery, it was probably David!
Imanol is originally from the South of Spain and qualified in July 2020 from University UCH CEU in Valencia (the sunny land where paella comes from!) He has previously worked as a mobile veterinary surgeon in several small animal practices and a veterinary hospital around Berkshire.
Imanol enjoys both veterinary medicine and surgery but has a particular interest in internal medicine and diagnostic imaging.
Imanol particularly loves the larger breeds, and his favourite is the cane corso!
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time outdoors (especially when he’s in Spain with his dog Thor!), he loves travelling, keeping active and he’s training to run a marathon!
Tom is originally from Bristol and didn’t venture far for university, qualifying from Bristol in 2021. After this he decided London was the best fit for him and worked for a vet group in South West London before joining us in September 2022.
Tom loves all sides of the veterinary role including surgery and diagnostic imaging, but particularly enjoys internal medicine and consulting.
Outside of work he enjoys running, squash and exploring all the culture London has to offer.
Melody qualified in 2017 after completing an apprenticeship to become a Registered Veterinary Nurse. As well as being a valued member of our nursing team, Melody also recently became our clinical administrator.
Melody enjoys all aspects of nursing and owns an array of pets including guinea pigs, hamsters, a cat, and even has a budgie!
Hannah qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2020 at Harper Adams university in Shropshire, then went onto work at a mixed practice for 2 years before joining us in December 2022. Being new to London, in her free time Hannah enjoys exploring London's sights.
At home, Hannah has a lurcher, 2 cats, 2 rabbits and 3 chickens! Her favourite part of the job is conducting nurse consults and inpatient care.
Kelly joined us in June 2020 originally as a member of our reception team. She soon moved on to beginning her training to become a Veterinary Nurse in January 2021.
Since working with us, Kelly has adopted a cat called Thom who was handed into us as stray who you can see pictured! Outside of work, Kelly enjoys photography and can often be seen taking her Lurcher, Todd, on adventures around London.
Having previously studied Veterinary Nursing at university, she soon decided to study an apprenticeship with us and is now one of our Student Veterinary Nurses.
Rozy's favourite part of the job is seeing sick animals get better, and of course giving them cuddles! At home, Rozy has a pet cat called Bueno, and in her spare time enjoys picnicking and bike rides around London.
Georgia joined us in May 2022 after realising her love for animals, and has her own dog at home, Buddy, who is a husky. She previously worked as a qualified hairdresser before joining us.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and can most likely to be found with her niece and nephew or socialising with friends.
After working in childcare for many years, Ida decided to pursue her love for animals (especially rabbits!) and joined us in July 2022.
Outside of work, Ida enjoys spending time with her rabbits, Luna and Zenzero and socialising with friends.
Currently studying Psychology at university, Sydney joined our team to satisfy her other love in life: animals.
Outside of work, you would find Sydney at home looking after her two cats, Jasmine and Margot, her cocker spaniel, Monroe, and her African Grey Parrot, Stanley!
Denise joined us in April 2022 after previously working in customer service. Outside of work she can be found spending time with her family.
After working in childcare, she soon realised her passion for animals and Kayla joined us in September 2022 as part of our reception team.
Outside of work, Kayla enjoys spending time with her family and going for adventures with her dog, Buddy.
