Meet the team
Hello, I´m Jose. I´ve wanted to be a Veterinary Surgeon since I was 5 years old. I graduated in 2015 at University of Santiago de Compostela (USC). I´m from Huelva, Spain, where I worked for 6 months in a small animal surgery before I decided to move to Manchester to learn English and get a job as a Veterinary Surgeon. Finally Vets4pets Rhyl has given me the opportunity to join them, learning and improving my skills with such a great team. I have a dog called Mecha, she is 7 years old. In my spare time I like spending time walking with Mecha, going out with my friends and playing some instruments like clarinet, saxo, harmonic and ukulele. For me there is no life without animals and music.
Started my veterinary nurse training back in September 2019 and before that did my veterinary care assistant. I am now in my final year of nurse training hoping to qualify in the this year. I’ve always loved animals and have wanted to work with them since a young age. My first job was at a boarding kennel and from there to farm which is where my interest in veterinary came from. I have a Sprollie called Hudson who’s always by my side and loves coming to work with me. In my spare time, me and Hudson are out on adventures going to new places for him to run around like crazy and me to do some photography.
Hi I’m Jess I've worked for Vets4Pets since we first opened in April 2015 and started out as a receptionist, I was then promoted to Practice Manager and most recently I've now become a Joint Venture Partner in the business with Tizzy. I've lived in North Wales all my life and started work as a trainee Veterinary Nurse/Receptionist in 1999 and have worked in 3 local practices both small and large animal which I loved. I have worked in the Veterinary Industry for over 23 years, I love my job and I love meeting new and old clients and getting to know everyone. My spare time is spent with my husband and 3 daughters (who keep us very busy with mum and dads taxi service). We have 4 cats; 12 year old Chester, 5 year old Bella and Derek and the new crazy cat of the house Bobby who is 4 years old, we also have 2 dogs; 7 year old Fred the cockerpoo and 2 year old Flo.
My name is Gemma and I have recently joined Vets4Pets Rhyl as a receptionist. All the team have been very welcoming and I look forward to meeting all our clients and their pets too. I absolutely love animals having grown up with cats, budgies and hamsters when I was younger. I now have my own fur baby Kodi who is a 10 year old loveable but slightly crazy border collie. In my spare time myself and my partner are always out walking Kodi in the beautiful North Wales countryside and on the coast.
Hi my name is Debbie, I have recently joined this fab team as a Client Care Advisor. The team are very friendly and welcoming and I am really enjoying my new role within the surgery. I love the variety of pets and owners i get to meet every day.
In my spare time i enjoy keeping fit by going to dance classes and hiking with my husband and our 1 year old furbaby Jinx a beautiful collie.
I also volunteer with the RSPCA clinic which I find very rewarding.
