Meet the team

Hi I'm Kobus, I graduated from the University of Pretoria, Onderstepoort, South Africa. Upon graduation I was invited to consider joining the faculty pathology department but decided to peruse other decisions at that stage. I took up a post at the medical university of South Africa and eventually moved to Cape Town. I also worked for a period of 5 years as a veterinarian at a very busy after hour’s emergency clinic in Johannesburg while holding a full time position as a small animal clinician in a private practice as well. I joined Vets4Pets as a locum Vet for set contract periods while still dividing time between London and South Africa. I also worked for Goddard Veterinary groups, based in London. It was working in Stockport, that Sharon and I decided to become Joint Venture Partners and base us permanently in Manchester. I also enjoy all aspects of both medical and surgical modalities and along with the strong team at Stockport, we aim to provide care to our clients and patients of the highest standard.

I currently have goats, sheep, donkeys, pigs, chickens, ducks, geese, rabbits and dogs.

Hi I'm Ramona, I joined Vets4Pets in October 2018 where I started my Internship program. I graduated in 2016 from the University of Veterinary Medicine Bucharest, Romania. My passion for pets and the desire to learn and develop myself made the decision to move to England easy. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my boyfriend going for long walks usually outside Manchester and I enjoy watching movies. I also love to have cuddles with my fluffy cat Arya.

Hi i'm Emily, I am one of the Veterinary surgeons here at Stockport. I graduated from Liverpool University in 2015 and joined Vets4Pets Stockport in 2019 when I wanted to move back to the North West to be closer to my family. Outside of work I enjoy going to gigs and music festivals, as well as spending time outdoors with my two dogs, Fizz the Border Collie & Osian the Vizsla.

Hi I'm John, I started working for Companion Care now known as Vets4Pets part-time in January 2006 while studying for a diploma in Business and personnel. After graduating I became a full time employee and haven't looked back since. I started out as a receptionist which quickly changed to the Practice Manager. Since then I have now became one of the Joint Venture Partners. My hobbies include watching sports, playing pool and socialising with friends. I currently have 4 pets, Freya the fluffy cat, Logan the cheeky cat, Wilson the wild dog and Maddie blue eyes a beautiful bulldog.

Hey, I'm Kelly & I started my Vets4Pets journey in 2014 as a part time client care advisor but have since progressed to office administrator, which means I am mainly in the office. I have always had a passion for animals & when I was offered the opportunity to work at Vets4Pets I was hugely surprised & excited. Every day is a different day at Vets4Pets & I love to learn something new each day. Since I was 4 years old I have had a passion for horses & I hope that one day I can have one of my own when I move to the countryside. I spent many years growing up on the farm & spending lots of time with friends horses. I am surprisingly allergic to cats but I don't let that stop me from working in the veterinary industry, allergy tablets do the trick. I have 3 of my own fur babies Logi Bear, Polly Gray & Thomas Shelby. They are spoilt rotten. in my spare time I love to get outdoors & I am a huge travel addict who loves to travel the world.

Hi I'm Sue. I started working as a receptionist at Vets4Pets in September 2018. I enjoy working within a team and feel as though I have fit in to the team well from the start. I own a diabetic cat that costs me a fortune!! I enjoy gardening and spending time with my family. Whenever I can I take breaks in St Ives and Trearddur Bay.

Hello, I'm Amy & I'm a client care manager - still getting used to saying that! I started at Vets4Pets Stockport in 2019 & have loved meeting clients long standing & new with their fur babies along the way. I'm super proud of my team I get to work with & we never have the same day twice, & just know if I'm not at the reception desk I'm in the cattery having cuddles. In my spare time when I'm not being attacked for dreamies by my own fur children I'm meeting up with friends, visiting the parents in Yorkshire or in the gym, I'm also partial to a glass of wine or two with a good film

Hi I'm Alma, I have worked within the veterinary environment since 2000. I began working at Vets4Pets in Stockport in April 2018. I love it here, its serious, its funny and has a brilliant atmosphere, the partners are so easy to talk to. You will find me on the desk, answering phones and chatting with clients, I also play a big part in helping with all the insurance questions and filling out the forms to make sure everything runs smoothly. When not in work I go home to my Hubby and our 2 cats, a mother daughter combo and my 17 royal python snakes, we did also have our Diddy Darla (Douge de Bordeaux) and mammas little man Nemo (the ginger ninja stray)but devastatingly lost Nemo and Darla back in 2020. I also enjoy reading, buying strange looking shoes and bags to match them, growing old ungracefully and hiding from the grandchildren which I must say I'm really good at now. I'm also trying to find an elusive room in our house that is apparently called the kitchen. After being here for 28 years I'm not sure I'm ever going to find it and leave it to the hubby as he is one of those annoying people who only have to go somewhere once and will always find his way back. Please come and say hello to me when not busy, having a natter with our clients can be such a brilliant experience and cheers us up no end. See you all soon.

Hi, I'm Sam. I have worked as a client care advisor at Vets4pets Stockport since November 2019. I have two crazy dogs and three even crazier cats. I enjoy long walks in the summer and long naps in the winter. When I'm not working, walking or napping I'm enjoying my free time with my family and friends.
The best part of my job is getting to meet all the lovely animals everyday.

Hi I'm Elle, I've been working as a Client Care advisor since December 2019. I have a passion for animals & love working at Vets4Pets Stockport. I'm a crazy cat lady & have 2 fur babies of my own. I have recently just got a Level 3 in Cat anxiety & stress behaviour. In my spare time I love to Craft & paint, I also enjoy going on walks & getting out in to the country with Family & Friends.
Oh I'm also the lucky one who gets to take all the cute photos of your fur babies for Facebook.

Hi I'm Carrise, although you may hear me go by a variety of different nicknames such as Pizza or CT. I have worked at Vets4Pets Stockport since 2020 & was welcomed to the family straight away. This is my first role within the Veterinary industry & although challenging at times I wouldn't change it for the world! I have a not so little cat called Moon Moon McSalem who has decided she loves coming to work with her mum& spending all her money. Moon has been told she can visit me at work anytime without spending money but she does love to be dramatic. When I'm not working or at the practice as a client (thanks Moon) you'll either find me at the cinema or with friends & family.

Hi I'm Georgia. I have worked for Vets4Pets for around 8 months now, after transferring over from Pets at Home. When I'm not in work you will normally find me in London visiting the theatre. I also have Rosie my rabbit who is a beautiful grey & white mini lop.

Hi I'm Chloe.I have worked for Vets4Pets Stockport since October 2020 where I am a Client care advisor. I have never done reception work before however the team were very supportive & I picked it up instantly. When I am not in work I love to catch up with my friends & family, & enjoy snapping photos of anything beautiful that I see. I have a 17 year old goldfish however he isn't as gold as he used to be anymore, but left out of all the pets I've had he is still going strong.

Hi I'm Samantha, I started working at Vets4Pets Stockport in June 2021 & love it. When I'm not with my Team at work I spend my spare time enjoying things like cooking, reading, listening to music & exercising. I try to spend as much time outside as possible, and can usually be found holding camera or a pair of binoculars spotting wildlife. My happy place is in a woodland surrounded by all the beautiful sights, smells & sounds. I adore travelling & would pretty much go anywhere given the opportunity. I have a beautiful 8 year old cat called Pru, she is very independent, yet a loving girl. I call her the Cleopatra of the Cat world. I have two rescue tortoises, Albert who is 16 years & Ralph who is around 4 years old & fairly new to the tribe.
I love anything Dinosaur. I mean who doesn't? The song my husband & myself chose for our wedding song was in fact the instrumental version of the Jurassic park theme tune. But ... I promise I wasn't a bridezilla.

Hi I'm Kelly, I have worked at Vets4Pets Stockport for 3 months however have been a veterinary receptionist for 3 years now. Outside of work I do some volunteer work at a charity.
