Meet the team
Born in Zimbabwe, I qualified there in 1992 and moved with my wife to the UK in 1998. I have been working in small animal practice since and enjoy spoiling the animals at consult time, when they will let me. At home I have a grumpy old cat, a pansy of a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and two kids who have grown up too quickly!
I joined the Thurrock team as a veterinary surgeon in July, 2020. So far I’ve been enjoying meeting new people, sharing stories, having a good laugh and seeing our patients get better after every visit. My personal goal is to secure welfare of our dear pets, and my professional goal is to become a certified veterinary cardiologist.
Born and raised in Sofia, Bulgaria. Graduated from University of Forestry in the year 2018. Since then I have been involved in clinical practise. I joined the team in November 2020 with high hopes of further development and growth. I am social and I enjoy meeting new people. Professional goals include becoming a soft tissue surgery specialist.
I have been in the Veterinary sector for 5 years and still each day is very different. I began my journey in Thurrock Vets4Pets in February 2021, I love my job and I really enjoy the medical side of the profession, watching patients get better is very rewarding. In the future I would like to extend my qualifications and persue a medical nursing certificate. My favourite animals are Whippets, Italian Greyhouds and I do have a soft spot for small furries.
I joined Vets4Pets in Thurrock in August 2020, I am a Student Veterinary Nurse studying at the College of Animal Welfare, currently in my final year. I have always wanted to work with animals, and now I can fulfil my dreams of becoming a Registered Veterinary Nurse. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with family and friends, playing with my crazy Cocker Spaniel.
Having had a love for animals ever since i was young I always hoped I would be able to work alongside them and give them the best care possible which I’m really enjoying being able to do. I joined Vets4Pets in May 2021 and I’m looking forward to becoming a Student nurse towards the end of this year and to eventually progress into being a fully qualified Veterinary Nurse in the future. In my free time I’m either socialising with friends or at home painting whilst trying to keep my curious black and white cat away from the paint!
I started my journey at Vets4Pets Thurrock in August 2021 after completing my BSc (Hons) in Veterinary Nursing Science at Hartpury University in July 2021 graduating as a Registered Veterinary Nurse.
I have worked in the veterinary industry for the past 6 years, predominately working with British wildlife. Inpatient nursing is such a rewarding part of my job which I love so much, seeing patients getting better with our care, nothing quite beats it. I love the surgical aspect of my job and in the future would love to pursue certificates to expand my education in this area! I'd also love to become a clinical coach in the future. My favourite breeds are bull breeds and rottweilers!
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my friends, partner, family and own dogs and cats as well as baking and cooking lots!
I joined Vets4pets as a full time receptionist in April 2019. The animal industry is a big interest of mine and always has been since I was young. It’s truly fascinating seeing so many different animals on a day-to-day basis that each have their own personalities, just like humans. I’m currently doing an Animal Care Level 2 and Animal Behaviour Level 3 online course and aspire to learn and progress into becoming a veterinary nurse. I have a gorgeous cat named Samson and he’s the funniest cat you’ll ever meet! He’s a cheeky monkey, but what’s the point in having a pet if they’re not a little cheeky?
I’ve recently joined the Thurrock practice on reception. I have worked within the veterinary world for the past six years and I have loved meeting all the pets and their owners.
I have always loved animals and three little Bichon Frise dogs were a massive part of my life. After losing these three dogs to old age (one of my boys was almost 18 years old) I vowed never to have another dog.
I spent time pet sitting family and friends dogs and during lockdown of 2020, I fostered an abandoned puppy who was found dumped in a box with his litter mates. I saw him go from skinny and shy to this bounding full of life, healthy and happy puppy... I failed at fostering him and he became officially adopted three months later!!!
I recently joined Vets4Pets practice on reception. I have not worked in the veterinary industry before but I have a huge love for animals, each day is great to see all the different animals that come in.
I have three adorable pets one dog who’s seven and two rescue cats that are 15 years old which are a huge part of my life they showed me my love for animals.
