Meet the team
Local to the area, Tamsin decided at a young age that she wanted to be a vet, and is indebted to the local vets who were happy to have a youngster in their surgeries for several years to observe veterinary practice.
Graduating from the University of Bristol in 2009, Tamsin spent three years in mixed practice in Somerset and Wiltshire before moving to small animal practice, enjoying all aspects of medicine and surgery and opening Vets4Pets Warminster in 2017.
Owning a surgery brings its own unique challenges, and Tamsin enjoys meeting these head on, setting a high clinical standard, and encouraging a strong team ethic within the surgery. Tamsin’s practice holds state of the art facilities and offer standard and advanced surgery, dental procedures, ultrasound scanning. Above all, Tamsin and the team will always ensure your pets are not only healthy but happy to come into see us – always showing the patience and affection they deserve when we’re looking after them in practice.
Outside of the practice, Tamsin enjoys horse riding, local walks around the Warminster area and spending time with her family, having just become a mum to a little boy in 2022.
Growing up in Bath, Tori felt the calling to be a vet from the age of 12, and during school holiday, spent her teenage years observing local vets at work, watching operations and understanding the day-to-day workings of a veterinary surgery. Tori worked as a weekend veterinary receptionist before starting university, at the Royal Veterinary College in London.
Following graduation, she worked in Newbury before moving to Bournemouth. She spent the last decade living by the sea working in small animal practice and was part of the Poole Vets4Pets team. From there she moved to join the Warminster Vets4Pets team in March 2021, around the same time as getting married and moving house, including getting the keys to their new house on the same day as getting married – Tori certainly doesn’t do things by half.
Tori has a particular interest in diagnostic imaging, internal medicine and dentistry.
Tori’s strong faith keeps her busy with the local church, women’s ministry and volunteering at a care home, and she keeps fit through regular running and indoor rock climbing, and walking her miniature Yorkshire Terrier Maya. An early morning run gives Tori exactly the buzz she needs to get going for the day.
When not keeping fit or volunteering, Tori gets creative with painting and baking. Tori realised quite how much baking equipment she had when it was time to move home, and her new husband has encouraged her not to buy any new baking kit for their new home!
Kate qualified from the University of Bristol in 2018 and has loved her job as a small animal vet since. She started her career in Bristol but has made the move to Wiltshire for the slower pace of life! She started working at Warminster Vets4Pets in October 2022 as a locum vet, helping to cover maternity leave. We have managed to convince her to stay, and now Kate is a permanent member of the team.
Kate has a special interest in animal behaviour and gained her Masters degree in Clinical Animal Behaviour in 2022. She is always interested in helping owners understand their animals better and is always happy to provide advice for any behavioural concern. Her other interests include pain management and care for the golden oldies.
Outside of work, Kate regularly attends singing lessons and loves cooking cuisines from all around the world. She is also dusting off the cobwebs from school and trying to teach herself Spanish!
Jenny enjoyed 13 years as a veterinary nurse before joining the Warminster Vets4Pets team as the Head Veterinary Nurse in 2017. She has a strong interest in orthopaedic surgery, enjoys the rewarding nature of clinical nursing, and looks forward to helping Warminster Vets4Pets continue to provide outstanding veterinary care.
The daughter of a UK Army Officer Jenny spent her early years travelling the world, including Germany and Hong Kong, educated within the English schooling set-up on each army base. Her parents settled in England, allowing Jenny to spend her secondary school years in the UK. With a leaning towards a science-based career, and having always loved, Jenny achieved a BSc Honours degree in Veterinary Science and Nursing, graduating from Sparsholt College in 2008. Jenny also holds a team leadership NVQ.
Away from the surgery, Jenny enjoys spending time with her family and friends, as well as walks in the country with Archie her Yorkshire Terrier cross Jack Russell, and going to the theatres in Bristol and London. When the weather isn’t suitable for outdoor pursuits, she enjoys a spot of Lego, concentrating on Harry Potter models. Expelliarmus!
Rachael has always wanted to be a veterinary nurse, but started at Pets At Home in Trowbridge, before taking the opportunity to become a Student Veterinary Nurse at Warminster Vets4Pets. She qualified in September 2021.
Born in Hong Kong, Rachael quickly found herself in the Wiltshire area, and having been educated locally up to A Levels, completed a creative writing and English literature degree at Bath Spa University, following her passion for reading.
Outside of the practice Rachael likes to take the opportunity to go for walks, read, or take her two girls out for a bike and scooter ride. However, there is nothing quite as good as cuddling up with her little ones on the sofa with a good film on the television. Or perhaps when it’s 8.30pm, and all is quiet upstairs!
Vicky joined the Vets4Pets team in May 2022 after moving to the area, she has worked in the veterinary industry for 3 years previous in her hometown. She enjoys working with animals and building a relationship with animals and their owners.
Outside of the surgery Vicky loves to get stuck in to crafts and baking, making lots of brownies and cakes for family and friends! Vicky also enjoys walking with her cavalier king Charles spaniel Oscar, exploring the countryside and getting muddy.
