Dr. Iva Todorova MRCVS

Joint Venture Partner and Veterinary Surgeon

Hello, my name is Iva, I am originally from Bulgaria. I have a Masters degree in Veterinary medicine, which I earned in 2010. I come from a pet mad family with both my Dad and Sister also working as Vets and my Mum working as a zoo engineer.

After graduating as a Vet I began working with my Dad with small animals and poultries. I have a special interest in Neurology and Veterinary Dentistry. In 2014 I achieved an Honour Code Certificate in 'Fundamentals of Clinical Trials' from Harvard, USA. In January 2015 I achieved a Level 5 Diploma in Veterinary Practice Management at the Institute of Leadership and Management London.

For me it's a real privilege to be a vet and to help the patients stay healthy and happy. In my spare time I love to spend time with my family and visit new places.

Dr Naycho Biserov MRCVS

Veterinary Surgeon

I graduated from Trakia University in Bulgaria in 2010. Since graduation I worked in a small animal clinic in Bulgaria for 7 years.

When I was a child I was a proud owner of a loving Russian black terrier named Arnold and an always purring Siamese cat named George and I always knew I will be a vet one day.

My professional interests lie in surgery and internal medicine. I have just started a qualification in US imaging.

The most rewarding aspects of being a vet is helping clients on a daily basis and building long term relationships with pets and their owners.

In my spare time I love to travel and do sports.

Nick Horniman

Veterinary Surgeon

Hi - I’m Nick Horniman and I have been a small animal veterinary surgeon since 1992 - running my own practice in Gloucestershire for 20 years. After selling the practices I now work as a veterinary consultant for Oxford Cowley Vets4pets. I have a Patterdale terrier called Molly, three cats and a guineapig called Squeakles with his own Instagram account.

It is a privilege to work with the Oxford Cowley team. I am involved in the medical, diagnostic and surgical caseload. Our surgical list includes eyelid entropium surgery, third eyelid cherry eye correction, major skin mass removal. Othorpeadics includes lateral suture for cruciate repair, fracture fixation, surgical reduction of hip luxaton, patella luxation, femoral head and neck excision and diagnostics work ups for lameness. Soft Tissue includes TECA and lateral bulla osteotomy, perineal herniorraphy, lung lobectomy and nephrectomy.

I am particularly interested in Orthopaedics.

Registered Veterinary Nurse

I qualified as a veterinary nurse through the “Instituto Politecnico de Castelo Branco”, Portugal, in 2018. I then got the opportunity to work with vets4pets and move to the UK. Therefore I am now in the process of becoming a registered veterinary nurse in this country, I couldn’t be happier here.

I enjoy all aspects of nursing, but I specially enjoy being able to interact with pets and their owners during my reception time.

After every working day I go home to my 2 loving cats, Trixie my tricoloured girl and Maze her gorgeous black younger sister

Nikolay Nikolov

Veterinary Care Assistant

Hi my name is Nick. I used to work as a team leader at Coca-Cola, but my passion for animals has brought me here to Vets4Pets. I work as a VCA and help with managing the practice with my wife Iva. I particularly enjoy assisting the veterinary surgeon in theatre, and I am studying towards a level 2 award in anaesthesia and sedation to further my skills.

I have had animals all my life and I currently own a German shepherd called Rex.I love working with animals and couldn't think of anything more rewarding.

Hi I’m Hayley, I am a receptionist at vets4pets Oxford Cowley. I studied Communication, Media and Culture and while doing so worked at Pets at Home. I’ve always loved animals and really enjoyed learning about the pets and now enjoy helping out with the animals at the practice and seeing them through their recoveries and journeys.

Although I have had many different pets, I currently am pet-less. However I’m lucky as I am constantly being surrounded by animals in my work and home life. I love walking family and friend’s dogs, and with my boyfriend are currently planning the adoption our first rescue dog. I’m very excited for the chance to raise our own dog and feel extra prepared with working for such a great team at the practice.
