Meet the Aintree Vet team

Jeanette Allison Joint Venture Partner Aintree Vets4Pets

Your vet is Jeanette Allison MRCVS

Joint Venture Partner & Clinical Director

Since qualifying from Glasgow University in 1983, Jeanette has worked in a number of small animal practices around the country. She settled in Maghull in 1990 and had been working in a small animal practice locally until opening up Vets4Pets Aintree in 2011. Jeanette has found the local people in and around Maghull and Aintree to be very welcoming and has always strived to provide a friendly and compassionate service to them and their animals. 

Jeanette is owned by two cats called Nelly and Smike who are a dab hand at changing her décor at home!


Kamila Kryszan Veterinary Surgeon Aintree Vets4Pets

Kamila Kryszan

Veterinary Surgeon

Kamila qualified as a surgeon in 2009. Since graduation she has worked in a number of practices including Vets Now a busy out of hours emergency surgery. Kamila’s main interests in the veterinary field are working with the owners to provide the best care and attention to their pets across the welfare spectrum. 

When Kamila isn’t glued to a computer screen in the practice she enjoys going to the cinema and reading.

Oana Ilie DVM MRCVS

Veterinary Surgeon

Oana began training as a vet in 2010 and qualified in 2016.

She joined Vets4Pets in August 2017. She became an immediate hit with all of our four legged friends.

Oana is owned by a beautiful west highland terrier called Jessie. She loves consulting and sharing her knowledge with other westie owners, hopefully helping them to a long happy life with their much loved dogs.

 


Laura Malthouse BSC BVSC MRCVS

Veterinary Surgeon

After Graduating from Liverpool University in 2016 the opportunity came up for Laura to join the Aintree team.

Laura enjoys all aspects of small animal medicine and surgery and she has a particular interest in soft tissue surgery. She loves to meet people and their pets and feels very lucky to have such a rewarding job. We feel very lucky to have Laura in our team.

 


Caroline Morgan Veterinary Nurse Aintree Vets4Pets

Head Veterinary Nurse

Caroline completed her honours degree in veterinary nursing in 2013. She gained her experience working for three years in Myerscough college and joined us here in 2013. Caroline loves her job here at Vets4Pets as no two days are ever the same. And as we are now offering nurse clinics it gives her the opportunity to really get to know our patients and clients.

Caroline is owned by a 10 year old Boxer dog named Gwen and a one year old tabby, Winston. Caroline also has two mischievous rats called Domino and Willow.


Janet Fishwick

RVN Veterinary Nurse

Janet has been qualified as a veterinary nurse for over 15 years. She can be found at the surgery on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays while the rest of the week she spends either at home with her two cats Paddington and Pootle or out hillwalking. Janet joined us in 2015 with a wealth of experience. We are very lucky to have her.


 


Charlotte Ray

Student Veterinary Nurse

Charlotte is our student Veterinary Nurse she joined the Vets4Pets family in 2016 as a placement student. She will qualify in September 2018, which I know she feels can't come soon enough. Charlotte is passionate about giving your pets the best care and treats all pets as if they are her own.


 


Melissa Wayland Practice Manager Vets4Pets Aintree

Practice Manager

Melissa joined the practice in 2011 with 15 years of admin and management experience. Her focus is on customer service and ensuring that all clients and patients visiting the surgery have a first class experience. Melissa is a strong advocate of Vets4Pets and the work that they do. She is very proud of the wonderful team that she works with.

Melissa is well and truly owned by a 5 year old Rottie called Hank. Hank is often seen in the practice causing mayhem with his enthusiastic slobbery kisses.

David Duff

Client Services Manager

David began working at Pets at Home store several years ago due to his love of animals he progressed into Vets4Pets a couple of years later. He was recently offered a role here as Insurance Manager. David thrives on working for a Growing and expanding company.


Donna Croll Aintree

Donna Croll

Veterinary Care Assistant/Receptionist

Donna has worked in the animal care industry for five years and joined Vets4Pets as an animal care assistant in 2011. Since joining the team Donnas plans to train as a veterinary nurse have changed as she has recently become a new mum. She is enjoying the challenge of getting a balance of work and family life and is confident that with the support of her colleagues this will be a smooth transition.

Donna has a 14 year old Dalmatian called Holly and for those of you that already know Donna. Holly, as you would imagine has a pink sparkly lead and collar.


Sharon McClusky Veterinary Care AssistantAintree Vets4Pets

Sharon McCluskey

Veterinary Care Assistant

Sharon joined the Aintree surgery when it first opened in 2011.  Sharon loves working at Vets4Pets as veterinary medicine fascinates her. She finds her position very rewarding and is happy to be part of a team that really cares about its patients.

Sharon has four dogs. Sandy 14, Sara 8 and Smartie 3 who are all crossbreeds and Savana who is a 10 year old Bernese Mountain Dog.


Susan Taylor Receptionist at Vets4Pets Aintree

Susan Taylor

Client Services Manager

Susan joined us here in Aintree in 2011 after a career in various customer services role. As Susan is front of house she has become familiar with our clients and their pets, and enjoys seeing their progress throughout the years. She finds her job very rewarding and feels lucky to be able to combine her customer service skills with her love for animals.

Susan has 4 cats Kegz, Ginger, Ella and Tinkerbell. She also has an 8 year old rescue Collie called Buster who we all love.

Megan joined us in 2014, she had never worked at a vets before but she absolutely loves her role here as Receptionist.


Justine Taylor Veterinary Care Assistant/Receptionist Vets4Pets Aintree

Justine Taylor

Veterinary Care Assistant/Receptionist

Justine joined the team at Aintree in 2012. She has worked in animal care for the last six years in various roles including managing a very busy kennels and cattery. Justine gained her NVQ in Animal Care in 2010. She is passionate about animal care and loves working within the veterinary industry. Justine is working towards training to become a veterinary nurse with Vets4 Pets.

At home Justine has 3 rabbits (soon to be 4) called Rosie, Joey and Georgie. She also has a beautiful 1 year old Pomeranian called Daisy and a rescue kitten called Yasmine.

Veterinary Care Assistant/Receptionist

Racheal used to be a client here at Aintree but seeing how friendly everybody is made her eager to join the team. She feels the job is busy, rewarding and she loves the work. She is looking forward to doing her Nurse training in the future.

Client Services Coordiantor

Cain has recently been taken on as a receptionist at Aintree after completing a year’s work experience in the kennels here. His particular interest is in client care within the veterinary practice. He has a real passion to care for people and their pets.
