Marina Scoffone MRCVS

Practice Owner and Veterinary Surgeon

I qualified at the University of Turin in 1993 and, although I like all aspects of veterinary science, I have a special interest in Soft Tissue Surgery and Oncology. I am currently doing a Master in Clinical Oncology at Birmingham University and I really enjoy it. It is great working in this friendly and forward thinking practice.

I have two dogs Archibaldo and Domitilla and two cats Giulietta and Mary. I enjoy mountain trekking in the Alps, travelling and studying history, I also would like to learn playing golf.

Dr Katrin Knight MRCVS

Veterinary Surgeon

I qualified from the University of Veterinary Medicine Vienna in 2005. Whilst working full time in a small animal hospital in Austria, I continued a post graduate doctoral program at the University for two years and came to the UK in 2010.

After working in a small animal hospital with out of hours service in Hertfordshire for five years, I joined Vets4Pets Hertford in September 2015. I enjoy all aspects of small animal medicine but I particularly like internal medicine and abdominal ultrasound.

In my spare time I enjoy travelling, reading and skiing in Austria.

Student Veterinary Nurse

I have had a lifelong passion for animals, from a young age proclaiming that I would one day become a zoo keeper, I am about to start my career in veterinary nursing and have already learned so much working for Vets4Pets. I am always happy to help, I have a great personal interest in reptiles and exotic pets and hope that this career can help further my knowledge to help provide my own pets the best husbandry I can give.

When not at work I spend my time with my family, including my rabbit Snorty, two dogs Archie and Penny and my menagerie of reptiles. I enjoy working here at Vets4Pets as I get to help other families when their best friends aren’t feeling 100% and bring them back to their usual selves.

I was also recently nominated in the Hills pet slimmer and was the UK's runner up from "managing weight with excellence award". I am now running free weight clinics at Vets4Pets Hertford. Click below to find out more.

Receptionist

From a very young age I had my heart set on working with animals. Growing up I always had pets and in my teenage years I became very interested in veterinary care. I was lucky enough to be able to carry out my work experience at a local veterinary hospital.

After leaving school I took a 16 year detour from the path I had planned for myself- gaining experience in administration and reception duties but I finally found my way back to my childhood passion and am pleased to be working as the full time receptionist here at Vets4Pets!

Outside of work I enjoy photography and spending time with my 2 children, Husband and my Frug; Wainwright.

Receptionist and Client Care

I have been working at Vets4Pets since September 2016 and I am enjoying my role very much. I am passionate about animals and my role gives me the opportunity to interact with them every day. I really enjoy being called by our nurses to assist out the back with cats, dogs, rabbits or small furries.

I am also very keen on helping our clients with information about our care plans, with booking their appointments and dealing with their queries and requests.

In my spare time I love spending time with my family and our 2 lovely pets, Buddy my cat and Dotty my dog.
