Meet the Kidderminster vet team

Edd and Olivia

Veterinary Surgeons and Partners

We are Edd & Olivia, the vets and partners at the Vets4Pets in Kidderminster.

We aim to offer local pet owners a trusted, family run practice that will provide honest and personalised advice so that pet owners can make informed treatment choices for their beloved pets.

As well as specialist interests in soft tissue surgery, orthopaedics, ultrasound scanning and pet acupuncture we also enjoy adventure activities outside of work. In fact Edd is a qualified para-glide pilot, but these days most of our time is spent running around after our two boys and family dog Biggles.

Veterinary Surgeon

I qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in 2002 and have always worked in small animal practice. I am interested in all aspects of first opinion veterinary practice and in particular I like soft tissue surgery and have achieved the General Practitioner Certificate in Small Animal Surgery. This is a post-graduate qualification based on 2 years further training from surgical specialists, course work and examinations meaning that I can now perform more advanced soft tissue and orthopaedic procedures. I also have an interest in dermatology (skin conditions).

Most of my time is currently spent either at the practice or in “family time” with my two young sons. When I do get a spare minute I enjoy adventure sports.

Olivia Pring MRCVS BvetMed (Hons)

Veterinary Surgeon

My name is Olivia Pring and I qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in 2002. I spent my first few years working in mixed practice up in Shropshire but then decided to concentrate my abilities solely on small animal work. I have an interest in acupuncture and ultrasonography and love the unpredictable nature of the job - you really never know what each day will bring! With two small boys and a Border terrier, home life is busy and I spend most of my time out of work running round after these guys and my husband Edd.

My name is Emily. I am a registered veterinary nurse here at Vets4Pets Kidderminster and have worked here since 2014. I have a BSc Hons Degree in animal Behaviour and Welfare and a Level 3 Diploma in Veterinary Nursing. I am lucky enough to be one of our clinical coaches, helping train our student veterinary nurses.

I have a dog called Rupert who is a little Chihuahua with a big personality, keeping me on my toes daily.

In my spare time I enjoy socialising with friends and meeting up for dog walks.

I started working at Kidderminster Vets4Pets in September 2017 as a student veterinary nurse. I have worked within the veterinary industry since leaving school and it has always been a pleasure meeting all the clients and their pets.  I particularly look forward to completing my Veterinary Nurse Training and meeting and learning about all our client’s pets and helping the team keep them fit and healthy. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, my two Jack Russels Tilly and Tessa, my German Shepherd Elie and my two horses Coco and Murphy.

I'm Verity, I'm a receptionist. I've worked on and off with animals all my life, from vets to boarding kennels, racing stables, rescue kennels in Spain and dog walking. Animals are my passion. We have lots of pets: dogs, cats, ducks and birds - all keep me on my toes as do my 2 small humans! Never a dull moment in my life, good job as I'm as mad as a hatter! Working at Vets4Pets for the last few years has been wonderful, I work with the best colleagues and friends, I enjoy meeting and cuddling our client’s pets everyday too. I'm looking forward to many more years to come.

Chrissy Cattanach

Hi, I’m Chrissy, I come from an extensive background in customer service facing roles. I live local in Kidderminster and love spending my spare time with my Boston Terrier ‘Campbell’ going on long walks and exploring new places.

I also enjoy watching films and spending time socialising going out for meals and drinks. I love to travel and enjoy both sun holidays and city breaks.

Caroline Watson

I’m the newest member of the Vets4Pets team. I have always worked in Customer Service and thoroughly enjoy meeting new people. I have always had lots of pets, currently I have got 2 cats and Freddie a Cockapoo; who keeps us endlessly entertained.

I enjoy dog walking, going to the theatre, on holidays and meeting up with family and friends. I am looking forward to working at Vets4Pets.
