Hi there, having spent 5 years in mixed practice in Cumbria and Lancashire and now myself and my wife Jennifer have become the new partners at Vets4Pets Leyland.

We have two young children, Eleanor 18 months and George 4 months who keep us very busy! In our spare time we enjoy walking our Lakeland Terrier Gus. We hope to provide a caring and compassionate service of high quality to the good folk of Leyland and surrounding area.

Hello, I’m Jennifer the new partner at Vets4Pets Leyland. Having had two years out of work, raising our two children Eleanor, 18 months and George 4 months I am looking forward to meeting the clients and patients at Vets4Pets Leyland.

I’ve worked mainly in small animal practice in the local area in the last 5 years and have a particular passion for medical cases. Spare time? I’d be lucky!

Since qualifying from Bristol vet school in 2009 I started my career in mixed practice but more recently have concentrated on small animals. I will be running the cat only clinics on Wednesday evenings 6-7 pm to reduce stress for our feline patients.

I have a border terrier called Basil and a cat called Nando and I look forward to meeting you and your pets!

Registered Veterinary Nurse

I qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2012 and up until moving to Vets4pets I spent 9 years working in a very busy 24 practice were I cared for a wide range of patients.

I have a keen interest in critical care and I'm very passionate about snuggles! I have been a clinical coach for 4 years and enjoy helping students learn how to provide quality care for their patients.

Outside of work I have a beautiful dog name Finley, who was hand reared from 2 days old. He not the bravest of dogs and can be spooked by his own shadow on a regular basis, bless him!

I joined Vets4Pets Leyland three years ago as a receptionist and I love it. Recently I have worked my way up to becoming a student veterinary nurse and began studying at Myerscough College in January. I love providing lots of “TLC” to all the patients large and small to create a friendly environment, as I feel it helps reduce anxiety and stress. In my spare time I socialise with friends and like going hiking with my hyperactive (demanding!) 7 year old collie called Meg.

Hi i'm Gail and I've worked at Vets4Pets Leyland for over 35 years. I've seen it through from being a private practice to being being part of the Vets4Pets group.

I qualified as a vet nurse 25 years ago and have seen many changes over the years, as well as working with and meeting lots of lovely people and their pets. I'm very fortunate to be part of a great team here, most of us having worked together for a good number of years and between us we can boast over 80 years of experience!

Since being small I've always been animal mad and have had a whole menagerie of pets. I now own horses who easily take care of any spare time I have, a terrier with an attitude along with Adam the tortoise. I also enjoy gardening, socialising and have recently taken up making wine. We can't wait to meet you and your pets!

Hi my name is Louise, I'm Married with three children. I've been working in veterinary practice for the last fifteen years.

We have had a variety of pets, mostly strays which have been brought into practice that have needed a forever home . I really enjoy working as part of the Vets4Pets team, some of whom I have worked with from the start.

I have recently started working at Vets4Pets and enjoy every second of it. I have had a love for all types of animals since I was young so caring for them and meeting new faces on a day-to-day basis makes me extremely happy. I would love to one day train to become a qualified nurse! In my spare time I am very active and enjoy spending time with friends, family and my mini-lop rabbit, Oreo.

Working in the animal industry has always been a passion of mine, I studied my Level 3 Diploma in Animal Management and Agriculture before joining the team here at  Vets4Pets Leyland 2 years ago.

I love caring for animals and providing for their needs and in my spare time my 7 year old son and I look after our own little zoo, which includes; a dog, cats, fish, ferrets and a rescued crow!

Favourite animal and why: I had never been a cat person until I rescued my first tabby boy, Oliver and then came Thomas, I then realised how affectionate and loving cats could be.

What pets do you have and what are their names: I don't currently have any pets but would like to get a tabby male cat once I'm settled into my new house and one day maybe a Border Terrier.

What is the best pet's name you have ever come across: Mr Kipling.

What is your favourite famous animal: Simba from the Lion King.

What is the best thing about working for Vets4Pets: I've only just started working for Vets4Pets but at Leyland everyone works together as a team and helps each other out.

Something interesting about yourself: I have been in Veterinary Nursing for 19 years. I am now happily married to Ian and have a beautiful daughter Jessica who is 3 years old. We are currently renovating our forever home.
