Dr Hatti Dainton BVSc MRCVS

Veterinary Surgeon

Hatti qualified from Liverpool University with a distinction in 2008, and worked in mixed practice in England before moving to Northern Ireland in 2010. She has worked in dedicated small animal practice for the last five years and thoroughly enjoys meeting pets of all shapes and sizes and getting to know them and their owners.

 

Hatti has a particular interest in small animal internal medicine and dermatology. She is also passionate about building a fantastic team at vets4pets Newtownards, ensuring you and your pets receive a top class service every time you visit us in our brand new, purpose designed practice.

 

Hatti has two dogs, a toddler and a husband to keep her busy when she’s not working!

Dr Clare Brankin BVetMed MRCVS

Veterinary Surgeon

Clare qualified from Royal Veterinary College, London in 2005. After 18 months in large animal practice, Clare decided to specialise in small animals.

 

Clare has worked in various locations across the U.K. and spent some time working in a dedicated emergency and critical care clinic. Clare has a keen interest in soft tissue surgery (specifically reconstructive surgery) and also geriatric medicine.

 

Clare is kept busy at home by 2 Irish Wolfhounds, a springer spaniel, a Border terrier, a cat, a tortoise and 2 rats.

Laura Spence RVN PHC

Head Veterinary Nurse

After 7 years working as an animal nursing auxiliary, Laura enrolled in Greenmount College and gained her Veterinary Nursing qualifications in 2015.

 

Laura has a particularly interest in medical nursing and is determined to make all her patients feel loved and nurtured. Laura is also a qualified Pet Health Counsellor and runs her own Clinics giving specialist advice.

 

Laura has 2 dogs and a cat. Milly, who is now retired, has competed twice at Crufts in the agility ring. Laura is also a keen rider and has her own horses to keep her busy.

Laura-Marie Ring

Trainee Veterinary Nurse

Originally from Liverpool, Laura studied Performing Arts at university. After a short career acting, Laura decided to follow her dream and completed her Animal Nursing Auxiliary course in 2015.

 

Laura has been working within a clinic, where she has developed a keen interest in theatre nursing and rehabilitation therapies. Laura will attend Greenmount College and study towards her full nursing qualification.

 

Outside work, Frank and Carlos, the feline tearaways keep Laura on her toes. Laura's sunny disposition keeps everyone happy and she might even sing and dance when asked!!
