Cees Bennett VetMB MRCVS

Veterinary Surgeon and Partner

Having grown up on a farm in Wales I always wanted to be a vet and care for animals. That led me on to spend 6 years as an Army vet gaining some amazing experiences and skills, but I knew eventually I wanted my own surgery to provide the level of care I believe is important for both pets and their owners.

For the last 3 years I have worked hard to build a great reputation for pet and client care at Vets4Pets Peterborough and I am really excited to now offer this same quality care to a new area with our excellent new surgery. I look forward to greeting everyone soon.

Holly Norman

Veterinary Surgeon

I qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in 2011 and started at Vets4Pets in 2014. I enjoy working with all kinds of animals but have a special interest in dentistry, ophthalmology and looking after our older pets.

Just like people, I think that our pets are only as old as they feel! At home, I have a Springer Spaniel called Cleo and we do agility and heelwork together. I also have a ginger cat, called Cairo, who is very naughty!

Laura Elder

Veterinary Surgeon

My love of animals started at a very young age, where as I grew up I had a strong interest in science and this led me to study to become a vet at Bristol University.

Since then I have gained experience working at several small animal surgeries and I was thrilled to join the Vets4Pets Peterborough team in January, where I have been able to provide the high quality of care I strive for, with a friendly, personal service. I am very excited by the opportunity to open a new ‘sister’ practice in Bretton to continue this.

I enjoy building relationships with my patients and their owners, treating each patient as an individual and I look forward to getting to know you and you’re much loved family pets.

Vets4Pets Donna Smith Veterinary Nurse Peterborough

Donna Smith

Veterinary Nurse

I qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in March 2005 and started working at Vets4Pets Peterborough in March 2011.

My favourite part of the job is seeing animals get better, running nurse clinics and meeting all the patients in the practice. I also enjoy working with wildlife cases that get brought in occasionally. When I'm not at work I enjoy roller skating, baking and relaxing with a good book.

Helen Connor Nurse Peterborough

Helen Connor

Registered Veterinary Nurse

I have been qualified as a veterinary nurse for over 11 years now. Having the opportunity to finally achieve this was after a long road of working in agriculture for 8 years; and also at working at Woodgreen Animal Shelters when I moved to this area. Even though I am continuously busy it is always great to stop and catch up with our clients and the patients; and also receive a much needed cuddle or lick from any willing pet.

At present I am half way through completing “The Advanced Diploma” in “Canine Behaviour Management”; which I am starting to put to good use; and hopefully guide owners in the right direction with their dogs. Away from work I am kept busy with my two dogs; Alfie; a GSDX Collie (in the picture); and my camera shy Border Collie called Sham (Really Shambles). Both are rescue dogs who have both had their own problems over the years. They are my 2nd pair of Collies, of which I have a soft spot for. My husband and I enjoy long walks with these two, holidays in the UK, spending lazy weekends in the garden and time with friends.

Nadia D'Alelio

Veterinary Nurse

I joined the team in November 2014 and have been a qualified Veterinary Nurse since 2007. At home, I have two cats of my own; a tabby called Chester and a black and white one called Marlon.

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, I can offer advice on nutrition, preventative healthcare, dental treatment and much more. In particular, I enjoy working with orthopaedic cases and have a special interest in feline behaviour.

I joined the Vets4Pets Peterborough team in December 2014 and I am looking forward to meeting all the pets and their owners.

I have quite a menagerie at home, which includes four dogs, eight cats, two horses and a mouse! The best bit about being a veterinary receptionist is seeing the sick animals getting better and going home.

I have previously completed a work experience placement with Vets4Pets Peterborough and it was a pleasure to get back in the Vet4Pets uniform. I have two Staffordshire Bull Terriers at home, called Meg and Nora and enjoy spending time with them. The best thing about being being a veterinary receptionist getting to meet all the cute animals!

I have worked for Vet4Pets as a receptionist since 2011. When I started I owned one cat .... I now own four!

I find the job both interesting and rewarding. Most of all I enjoy meeting and greeting clients, as well as getting to know their pets in the waiting room.
