Owner & Veterinary Surgeon
My name is Dr José Manuel Palmés, I have been a vet since 2008, but I was a nurse for 5 years before that so I have been around the veterinary industry for a while. I qualified back at home in the canary islands. I have been working in the UK since late 2012.
I have special interest in internal medicine and cardiology and have recently achieved additional qualifications in Cardiology.
Along with my cardiology and medicine work, I enjoy all surgery and am personally happy to perform many advanced surgeries reducing the need for your pet to be referred. I am proud to be able to offer the very best level of professional care to your pet and am honoured to work with such caring and professional colleagues.
We got you covered, your pet and yourself are in good hands.
In my spare time I enjoy writing and going to salsa classes.
HI, I'm Gabriel (BL) and qualified in Barcelona in 2016. I have previously enjoyed working in mixed practice treating all creatures great and small before coming to Vets4Pets.
I love working here because I see a huge and varied caseload. I enjoy meeting and treating all of your feathered, scaly and fury friends and getting to know you, our valued clients.
I like to be involved in all aspects of veterinary medicine but have a special interest in surgery. I feel privileged to work with such caring, skilled and professional colleagues.
Outside of work, I enjoy climbing, socialising and taking walks in the beautiful English countryside.
HI, my name is Lisa. I'm the Head Nurse and Team Leader at Bristol Imperial and have been qualified for over 13 years. My work interest include emergency and critical care, nurse clinics, feline behaviour, exotics and puppy parties. I have achieved various certificates which I put to use in the day to day running of the practice as we are lucky enough to see lots of different species of pets and have a varied caseload. In my free time I enjoy meeting with family and friends, gardening, sewing and dancing. I have 2 cats, a tortoise, a hamster and 2 guinea pigs to keep me busy.
Hi there, my name is Sophie and I am a second year student veterinary nurse due to qualify in May 2022.
I enjoy working here at Bristol Imperial Vets4Pets because it is full of very interesting cases and opportunities to expand my clinical repertoire. I work with a team of highly qualified and professional vets and nurses who along with our lovely care assistant and receptionists do all they can to ensure we provide nothing but gold standard care for every patient who walks through our doors.
I have a huge soft spot for Bunnies and Lizards. At home I have two bunnies called Eeyore and Piglet who are my furbabies. I also have a very elderly hamster called Hammy and a westie called Bonnie. Truth be known, I love all animals and this is why the career I have chosen for myself is perfect.
In my spare time I like to socialise, walking and being around my pets.
Hi there - I am one of our experienced qualified vet nurses here at Vets4Pets Bristol Imperial. I have a keen interest in all medical cases, and whilst I have a strong love for all animals I particularly like working with our feline patients and have just completed the necessary work required for us to be awarded the silver status for cat friendly practice; this is the highest level achievable for a vet practice who is not a 24 hour hospital. Outside of work, I spend my time running around after my two children and menagerie of animals, including goats, chickens, ducks, dogs and, of course, our 18 year old cat!
Hi there. I'm one of the Partners here at Bristol Imperial and have been running/managing vet practice now for almost 15 years.
What I love about the team here at Vets4Pets Bristol Imperial is that we really do pull together like a family unit. We all share the same passion for doing the very best for every patient and client who walks through our doors. Our exceptional teams will handle advanced and complex soft tissue/orthopaedic surgeries and intensive medical patients with the same passion as they will when they meet a brand new puppy or kitten coming in for it's routine vaccinations.
I simply could not be more proud of the team we have here - I know with confidence that every pet, be it with feathers, fur or scales will be treated with the same amount of care as if it were our own.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, watching my two lovely daughter shoot up infront of my eyes and looking after our 3 dogs, 2 goats, countless chickens/ducks/geese/quails, rabbits, cat etc.
My name is Chloe. I'm the Care Assistant here at Bristol Imperial Vets4Pets - I am also known as the crazy ferret lady. Animals are quite simply my life, I'm incredibly passionate about welfare and care standards for all species at work and at home.
My favourite part of working at Bristol Imperial is my team, as we are all one big supportive family and also have a great laugh. The favourite part of my job is being able to comfort animals pre and post surgery. My hobbies include going for walks, exploring new places and attending ferret shows (with my many many ferrets). I also enjoy relaxing at home with my two Sphynx cats, Atlas and Anubis.
Tracey is our longest serving member of the team and takes a huge role in looking after everyone - you will find her smiley face waiting to greet you at reception. Tracey enjoys walking with these two; Marley and Albie and trying out new walks and spending weekends away with the family. I enjoy reading and spending time in the garden.
I started at Vets4Pets on reception when they first opened four years ago. From our very first client, to our latest ones - I love meeting the variety of animals that come and visit. At Vets4Pets, we treat every animal that comes through our doors as we would our own and I'm always happy to provide cuddles and treats to make your pets as positive as possible.
Vets4Pets Bristol Imperial is committed to bringing you affordable, high quality care via a modern, well equipped practice, including a lab, pharmacy, digital x-ray and ultrasound. Plus, on site car parking too!
The friendly team can't wait to meet all of their new clients!
