Hello, I'm Ruth and I am the owner of Vets4Pets Northwich.

I grew up on a farm in Oxfordshire and so was always destined to work with animals!  I have lived and worked in the North West since 2004, having first moved here to study at Liverpool Vet School.  I joined Vets4Pets in 2016 as a colleague, before opening this surgery as practice Partner in 2018.

I enjoy all aspects of being a vet but especially the challenge and variety of cases seen when consulting.  COVID changed the way we consult a bit, but we've all adapted well to the new normal and still continue to offer our patients the best care that we can. I am proud of the fact that whilst still a very young practice we achieved accreditation status with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons in 2019.  We continue to strive for high standards.

In 2017 I completed a post graduate Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice focusing on anaesthesia, pain management and emergency care.

I have two little Jack Russel x Mini Dachsies that come to work with me every day, called Minnie and Mollie.

Growing up on a farm, I've been around animals from a young age. I went to Harper Adams University to study BSc (Hons) Veterinary Nursing & Practice Management. As an RVN I mostly enjoy theatre nursing and nursing clinics.

I have two very naughty Jack Russell crosses called Betty and Bertie, who keep me on my toes on a weekend of walks.

Hi I’m Sammy and I started working here in 2020. I came from a background in livestock and have always been surrounded by a range of animals growing up. I qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2019 and have never looked back since! I have a particular interest in nursing feline patients and emergency and critical care. I currently live with my two cats called Sox & Tipsy.

I joined Vets4Pets in January 2019 and love meeting all of your pets. After A-levels, I knew I wanted to become a Nurse so I worked part time in a local vets and groomed dogs to gain experience working with animals. As a Student Nurse I attend South Staffordshire College and hope to qualify in a couple of years. I go to college once a week and spend the rest of the week here learning practical skills. At home I have a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppy named George who always misbehaves, and a cat named Ron.
