Our Advanced Veterinary Services
Advanced Ultrasound & X-Rays
We offer advanced ultrasounds and x-rays here in practice. To find out more, call us in practice or click on the enquire button.
Ultrasound scanning allows examination of and identifies changes in your pets' internal organs. It is commonly used to assess organs in the abdomen such at the bladder, kidneys and liver. It can also be used to assess the heart.

CT Scanner in Practice
We are pleased to be able to offer non-invasive diagnostic imaging here in practice through our state of the art CT scanner.
With our state-of-the-art CT scanner, we can see inside pets which enables us to provide a more accurate and timely diagnosis of both routine and potentially life-threatening conditions. Pets will need to be sedated or anaesthetised for a short time and will have a fully trained CT veterinary team member on hand to ensure that they receive the best possible care during their time with us.

Laparoscopic Services - Keyhole Surgery
Laparoscopic surgery, otherwise known as keyhole surgery, is a minimally invasive abdominal surgery where small surgical incisions are made rather than the more common larger skin incision. Small cameras and fine instruments allow the veterinary surgeon to perform a range of procedures such as:
- Ovariectomy/Ovariohysterectomy (Spay)
- Removal of retained abdominal testicles
- Organ biopsies
- Bladder stone removal
- Gastropexy (to prevent twisting of the stomach)

Orthopaedic Surgery
Our surgeons are trained and equipped to offer our clients a broad range of basic as well as advanced orthopaedic procedures such as:
- Fracture repairs (simple as well as complex)
- Arthroscopic joint surgery (elbows and knees)
- Cruciate ligament rupture surgery (TPLO, CBLO)
- Medial Patella Luxation surgery
- Hip dislocation surgery (Hip Toggle)
- Arthrodesis (fusion of joints)
