I graduated in 2015 from Nottingham Vet School and joined the partnership of Ilkeston Vets4Pets in 2018. Although I enjoy all aspects of veterinary medicine my main professional interests include soft tissue surgery, dentistry, ultrasound imaging and working up medicine cases. I currently share my home with two rescue cats called Summer and Luna who keep me busy!

Favourite animal and why?

Sorry can't really decide, love them all but if my life depended on it, probably cats.

What pets do you have and what are their names?

2 cats, Billie Whizz and Stompy (who was born blind) and 2 horses, Sam and Barmy Barnie.

What is the best pet's name you have ever come across?

A snake called "For Goodness".

What is your favourite famous animal?

On TV, the talking horse Mr. Ed (showing my age there), in real life, the showjumper Ftot du Chateau.

What is the best thing about working for Vets4Pets?

Being given support from a friendly large organisation but also given the freedom to do what we feel is best for the client and their pet.

I graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2020 and went straight into practice here at Ilkeston. Since then I have developed and advanced my skills in both medicine and surgery. My main interests are imaging and working up medicine cases.

In my spare time, you'll find me cuddled up with my beautiful rescue cat Jacko as he loves a good cuddle.

qualified as a Veterinary nurse in 1998 at a mixed practice in Derbyshire. During the last 17 years, I have gained valuable experience from working emergency out of hours to general practice. For the last five years I have worked for a large charity organisation, but I now look forward to a new challenge of helping to set up a new Vets4Pets surgery in Ilkeston. I love all animals and find them fascinating. I currently have a rabbit called Patches Quilt, two Guinea pigs called Fudge Pancake and Our Kev. I have two favourite famous animals, Pluto the dog and Shaun the sheep. Out of work I am married to Mark and have two children Adam and Katie. I like holidays, reading, cinema, and going out for meals. Working for Vets4Pets will enable me to use my skills and knowledge to help and educate pet owners in the community.

I Started with Ilkeston Vets4Pets in 2019. This year i have progressed my career enrolling as a Student Veterinary Nurse. I can't wait to start my nursing career and be able to educate myself on giving our patients the best care.

At home i have a lovely rescue cat called Sushi and a budgie called Tiki, who pretty much rule the house!

In my spare time i enjoy visiting new places, shopping as well as being with family and friends.

I enjoy working at Ilkeston vets4pets as we are such a close knit team and have the loveliest clients and patients ( I suppose i'm bias ).
