Meet the team
My name is Shabbir Shariff. I am one of the Joint Venture Partner at Vets4Pets Leicester Fosse Park and Vets4Pets Leicester Beaumont Leys. I have been at the practice since opening in November 2011. I graduated from the University of Pretoria in November 2008. My interests lies in feline medicine and laser therapy. I enjoy helping the various pets (cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, degus, gerbils and hamsters) we see daily. I am married to my lovely wife Sumera. We have a cat and hamster called Smudge and Rascal. My hobbies include doing a lot of DIY and tinkering with cars. I also enjoy playing basketball, badminton, watching formula 1 and movies.
Sali qualified in 2016 at The University of Nottingham and has been a dedicated vet providing the highest standard of care at the practice since 2022. She has a keen interest in soft tissue surgery and has a love for Red Pandas. In her spare time Sali loves to travel and experience new cultures.
Lorena graduated from Usamv Iasi in 2019. She moved to the UK in 2019 and she worked as a official veterinarian for a few years then I moved to small practice 2 years ago. She has a keen interest in internal medicine and dermatology.
She lives with my husband, 2 cats (Tokio and Nubia) and one little rescue dog Arlo.
Outside of work she enjoys walking, visiting the countryside, reading crime books and baking
Sarah has been in the veterinary industry for over 20 years. She joined the practice in July 2021 as a RVN and was promoted to Head Veterinary Nurse in May 2022.
Sarah helps inspire and develop our next generation of nurses.
Sarah enjoys travelling both in the UK and around the world.
She owns a beautiful Sprocker Called Olly.

Have been qualified since July 2023 with a Bsc Hons degree in veterinary nursing and joined the team in September 2024. I have always had a heart for animals when a child caring for young hedgehogs lost in the garden to rehabilitating a young crow with a hurt wing. Now I get to do it as the dream profession
Jessica started in 2023 after completing her level 3 Animal Care and science Diploma at Brooksby College. After completing her qualification went to work on a Horse Race yard in Australia. Jessica has completed her BVRA qualification and is currently working towards her Veterinary Nurse qualification. Jessica loves cats and owns 3 cats called Socks, Sweep and Rubble.
Molly started in September 2025 after completing her level 2 apprenticeship in Veterinary Care Support. She has also completed a Btec level 3 extended Diploma in Animal Management which she completed at Brooksby college. She has 3 dogs called Bindy, Marty & Dougie as well as 2 rabbits called Darwin & Nibbles.

I have always had a love for animals growing up with horses and on a farm. I completed my level 3 diploma in animal management at Brooksby college in 2016 and have since worked in a boarding kennels and Cattery, a dog day care and in dog training. As well as various work experience in vet practices. I recently started as a vca at the practice and am absolutely loving it so far, I would love to be a veterinary nurse in the future. Outside of work I love to travel, go hiking and spend time with my cat Mango.

After completing my Level 3 Animal Management Diploma at Brooksby College, I continued my studies at Pershore College, where I gained my FdSc Veterinary Nursing Degree and qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in July 2026.
I love being able to care for and support the animals we see each day, ensuring they receive the best possible experience during their visit. When I'm not in practice, I enjoy exploring the countryside on long walks and spending time with my family and friends.
Jennie has over 28 years of Veterinary experience working as a RVN in Small animal and Emergency Clinics. She joined the practice in 2022 as our Practice Manager to help motivated and develop the team and to ensure high levels of patient care is delivered.
Jennie has a black cocker spaniel called Fozzy.
Emma has worked at the practice since August 2016. She has completed her BVA training and enjoys building relationships with clients and meeting their pets, old and young. Emma enjoys spending time with her partner and their dachshund exploring the UK countryside and baking.
Amy has worked at the practice since September 2020 and loves welcoming all the pets as they arrive at the front desk often with a treat ready in her hand. She enjoys working within the veterinary industry to help ensure all pets receive the care they deserve. She has recently passed her BVRA qualification and is passionate about developing her Patient service skills.
Sarah has been at the practice since July 2024but has been a veterinary receptionist since 2003 and is already a valued member of the team. She has a love for boxer dogs and has a rescue cat. In her spare time she enjoys being with family, hand rearing cats, reading, travelling and shopping.
Karen has worked at the practice since July 2024 and has been a veterinary receptionist since 1989. She has fast become a well loved member of the team and her favourite part of the job is meeting clients and their pets and seeing the bond they share. In her spare time she enjoys caring for her dog, reading and country walks.
