Anna Barron-Moore
Practice Owner & Veterinary Surgeon
BSc(Hons) BVSc MVM MRCVS
I qualified from the University of Bristol, and worked in Scotland and Northern Ireland while completing a master’s degree in conjunction with The Donkey Sanctuary. Six years ago took the brave leap to start out on my own after the birth of my first child Nicholas, since then I have had another two children, James and Isabelle. I also have a degree in animal behaviour and welfare, something I am truly passionate about. With this in mind making sure that trips to the vets are as stress free as possible for pets and their owners is always at the front of my mind. This is especially true of my feline patients, who’s unique needs are often overlooked or misunderstood. I am proud to say that my practice in Northern Ireland to achieve Gold standard Cat Friendly status. My other interests include palliative care and surgery. I live in Lisburn with my husband, and three beautiful children, with our cat Ember.
I graduated from the University of Onderstepoort, South Africa, in 2011 prior to which I obtained a BSc in Biomedical Science for which I obtained Honours. I am a member of the Golden Key International Society of Excellence for both degrees. I have spent my years working throughout South Africa, England and Scotland. I recently emigrated to Northern Ireland in January 2024.
I am passionate about Exotics. I am a dedicated and very hard working individual so you can rest assured that the wellbeing and care of your furry loved one is my 1st priority. I have an interest in soft tissue surgery as well as medical work-ups.
In my free time I love exploring outdoors and this beautiful country of yours.
Hi I'm Jodie, I joined the Vets4Pets team in November 2021, you will have mostly seen me on reception but I have recently started the Veterinary Nursing course at Greenmount.
I have been around animals throughout my life and have been horse riding since I was 8 years old. I have many of my own pets Ted the Shih Tzu, Twink the leopard gecko, Tina the tortoise and Cheese & Dudley the hamsters. I have completed a Level 2 & Level 3 Animal Management course in Lisburn Tech, and the animal care course at Greenmount.
Christopher has a vast experience in the pet industry over the last 17 years. Christopher joined the team in March 2022 as a client care advisor. Christopher has a wealth of knowledge and experience with our feline friends and away from the practice is heavily involved with cat rescue in the local area. Currently he shares his house with seven cats, including Bruce the Maine coon, who rules the roost.
My name is Lorraine. I have been with Vets4Pets from February so I am still finding my feet. I have to say everyone, staff and clients alike, have made me feel very welcome.
Most of my career has been in administration but my real love has to be animals. I have been involved in a charity called Caring Canines. Members take their own dogs to Care Homes to visit the residents. At present I volunteer at Almost Home Animal Rescue in Moira. This is hard work but very rewarding.
Any other spare time is spent with my husband, 4 dogs, grandkids and good friends.
