Meet the team
Emily graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2009 and has been working in various roles within small animal veterinary practice ever since. Although she and Will have been married since 2012, joining the Netherfield Vets4Pets team in 2019 is the first time they have ever worked together. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family, including their Border Terrier Stig.
Lisa graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2005. After a few years in mixed practice and a break to spend time travelling, she has worked in small animal practice ever since and particularly enjoys skin cases. She is currently working towards an advanced practice certificate in dermatology.
She enjoys walking her Labrador and spending time with her family.
Lucy graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2025. She has started at Netherfield as a new graduate vet, after enjoying many months on placement here during her degree. Lucy hopes to continue expanding her knowledge of small mammal medicine and exotic pets as she gains experience in practice.
Outside of work, Lucy enjoys spending time with her Rabbits and walking her Labradors.
Ellie joined the Netherfield team in July 2020 as a third year veterinary nursing student at Nottingham Trent university. Ellie has a particular interest in feline nursing and hopes to one day rescue and foster senior cats. In her spare time she enjoys travelling, spending time with friends, going for walks in the countryside and relaxing at home with her family cat Leo.
Jodie began her journey at Netherfield in 2017 as a work experience student, she is now in her first year of her Veterinary Nursing foundation Degreed and has joined the team as a veterinary care assistant. Jodie enjoys opportunities to learn new and exciting things and has a special interest in rabbits and their behaviour. In her spare time she loves spending time with family and friends and caring after her pets. Jodie has two dogs, rabbits, hamsters and rats! One day she is hoping to have cows too.
Lauren graduated from Harper Adams University in 2022. She enjoys learning new things and has a particular interest in consulting especially weight clinics. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, taking care of her two dogs and baking.
Faye joined the team in 2021 as a receptionist and is currently studying veterinary nursing at Nottingham Trent University. She has a particular interest in feline nursing. Outside of work she enjoys walks in the countryside with her dog Blue and doing gymnastics.
Lauryn started working at Netherfield in October 2021. He hobbies include riding her horse, Mango, cooking, thrifting and hoarding house plants! She is also a keen pet photographer.
Hannah started working here in October 2021 after graduating from university with a degree in Animal Biology. She has a keen interest in Wildlife conservation and sustainability issues and took part in a volunteering placement working in Sri Lanka at a Turtle sanctuary during her time at university. In her spare time she enjoys going on hikes, particularly in the Peak District and the North Yorkshire Moors. Her favourite breed of dog is a Border collie which she would love to have one day to go on hikes with and practice agility.
Kayla joined the team in September 2022 whilst studying at Brackenhurst. She has 3 dogs (Lenny, Hunter and Noodle) and 2 cats (Tasha and Sushi, who she hand reared). Kayla is currently doing a CPD course in canine behaviour. Outside of work, she enjoys riding her horse (Vlad) in the countryside, going out with friends and spending time with her dogs.
Sarah joined Vets for Pets in April 2022 as an Animal Care Assistant, she enjoys accommodating and caring for clients pets before and after procedures and making there time with us as stress-free as possible. Sarah hopes to gain further knowledge in researching different behaviours and traits in particular animals and breeds. In her spare time Sarah loves spending time with her family and going on long countryside walks with her children and dogs. Sarah has 2 Labradors called Lucy and Rosie. She also has 3 cats called Sunshine, Billy and Violet and 2 rabbits called Pancake and Smudge.
Annie started working at the practice in October 2024 as a receptionist and veterinary care assistant and has recently started a veterinary care assistant apprenticeship with the practice. Annie has a dog called Lola and a horse called Bruno. She enjoys dog walks in the countryside and long hacks with her horse, she also enjoys spending time with her friends and live music.
