What is your job role?

I'm a veterinary nurse so I look after the animals when they visit the  practice for the day for surgery and I also see animals and their parents when they come in for health checks and advice.

What is your favourite animal and why?
I have a soft spot Border Collies as my family has had them since I was young. I love their energy and the way they seem to understand what you want before you tell them.

What pets do you have and what are their names?
I have a rescue, standard dachshund called Max, and a rescue hamster called Bertie who has three legs!

What's the best pet name that you've ever come across?
There was a cat at my previous practice called Thing who had a son called Thing 2.

What is your favourite famous animal?
I like Marley from the book/film “Marley and Me”. He was such a character.

What's the best aspect of working for Vets4Pets?
The friendly ‘family’ atmosphere between my myself, my colleagues and the clients. And of course the animals!

Any  large breed dog but  newfoundlands are by far my favourite. I just love the way they plod along and are always up for a great big hairy cuddle.

I have two crossbreed dogs, called Socks and Titch. They are getting on the older side now, but they still get up to lots of mischief! I also have a boy cat call Ebony, who likes to bite my toes.

Mr Sprinkles Prinkles!

What is your favourite animal and why?
It has to be a sloth because they have the cutest smiley faces! They also eat and sleep all the time which reminds me of myself!

What pets do you have and what are their names?
Unfortunately I don't have any pets at the moment but I used to have an Anatolian Karabash (Turkish Shepherd Dog) called Polo. He was a very handsome boy and a big softy!

What's the best pet name that you've ever come across?
My nieces pet rat Gandalf. In fact, she has had a Gandalf, Bilbo, Pippin, Merry, Frodo and Sam. You can tell she's a Lord of the Rings fan!

What is your favourite famous animal?
Definitely Marley from Marley and Me. Because he reminds me so much of my dog Polo! Pretty much all the naughty things Marley got up to were the same naughty things Polo got up to! Even getting sent to the back of the class in puppy play-school!
