Meet the team

Hi I’m Amanda, I first started working in the veterinary profession in 2000 and qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2004. Since qualifying I have worked in a number of practices in the North West of England, from small practices to referral centres and large hospitals and emergency and critical care practices. I have worked in all areas throughout my career, theatre, wards, out of hours and preventative health care consultations. During this time have I have gained my A1 assessor qualification and been a clinical coach. I first joined Vets4pets group at Penny Lane, and joined Accrington Vets4pets in 2018, where I have taken the head nurse roll. I’m interested in all aspects of nursing and passionate about providing a high standard of patient care for your furry family members. In my spare time I am busy with my horses Harold and Solomon and my cat Kitty.

Hello, my name is Holly and I am 20 years old. I am the Veterinary care assistant (VCA) here at Accrington vets4pets and have been for the past 3 years. I absolutely love my job and can’t wait to start my veterinary nurse training to become a registered vet nurse and further my knowledge. I have previously studied animal management at college so I am no stranger to exotics. I have 3 cats at home, 2 of which I have rescued from the practice and are both Persians and 1 who was my Christmas present back in 2017 who is a DSH.
In my spare time I love to keep busy, whether it’s socialising with friends, going on holiday, or relaxing with my fur babies. I have luckily been able to travel quite a lot over the past few years, I recently went on holiday and did a tour of America, which was amazing! I look forward to all the new and exciting places that I can visit in the future.
I’m excited to meet you all J
