Meet the team
Hi I’m Amanda, I first started working in the veterinary profession in 2000 and qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2004. Since qualifying I have worked in a number of practices in the North West of England, from small practices to referral centres and large hospitals and emergency and critical care practices. I have worked in all areas throughout my career, theatre, wards, out of hours and preventative health care consultations. During this time have I have gained my A1 assessor qualification and been a clinical coach. I first joined Vets for pets group at Penny Lane, and joined Accrington Vets for pets in 2018, where I have taken the head nurse roll. I’m interested in all aspects of nursing and passionate about providing a high standard of patient care for your furry family members. In my spare time I am busy with my horses Harold and Solomon, my dog Rosie and cats Delilah and Tessa.
Hi I'm Jenny, I obtained my degree in veterinary nursing in 2017 and I joined Vets 4Pets in November 2019. I am very passionate about high standards of care for all my patients and I am currently studying an advanced nursing qualification in exotic species.
In my spare time I am very artistic and outgoing, I enjoy attending concerts and being creative. My home consists of our spoilt cats, a cheeky hamster, a loud dancing cockatoo and an adorable complicated rabbit. At work I am referred to as the crazy rabbit lady due to my passion, knowledge and dedication to their care.
I look forward to meeting all your furbabies from dogs and cats to small furries.

I joined Vets for Pets in 2022 as a Pet Health Advisor
I love meeting you & your fur babies, aswell as working alongside the amazing team here at Accrington.
Outside of work I spend most of my time either with my son or covered in mud, straw or any other random substance that exists from caring for our animals ranging from cows, sheep & horses, to Bengal cats & dogs (2 naughty beagles and a very clever border collie who is disgusted by the beagle’s behaviour).
Hello , my name is Helen I am a registered nurse here at Vets4pets in Accrington. I have worked in the veterinary field for many years now and have enjoyed every second of it! I have spent some time in an emergency veterinary hospital as well as in small animal practice.
I have only been with Accrington vets4pets for a short time but I have worked within vets4pets for a good few years now. I look forward to meeting all of the lovely clients and pets. In my spare time I enjoy camping with our dogs in our camper van, walking the countryside, cooking and gardening.
Hello I’m Donna
I’m the newest member of the team at Vets for Pets. I started in October 23 and I’ve settled in nicely with lovely people around me to help on my learning journey. I’ve really enjoyed being apart of the customer care team and helping all the lovely customers that come into the practice.
When I’m not working, I’m home being a mum to 3 beautiful children that definitely keep me on my toes. When I can I love to travel the world, I've seen some amazing places and met some wonderful people.

I’m Bekki, I started working for Vets for Pets November 2024. I’ve always had a huge passion for helping animals and always wanting a career working with animals. It’s been my dream to work in the vet industry and I’m loving every minute of it.
In my spare time I love going on adventures with my dog and spending my nights cross stitching.
Hi I’m Lucy, I started working for Vets for Pets in April 2025. Within the short time I’ve been here I have enjoyed seeing all the lovely people and their pets!
I came into this role with no previous experience in the vet industry and everyone here has already taught me so much and made me feel welcome. I have always wanted to work with animals and I am delighted to have started my journey in this career.
In my spare time I enjoy going on walks with our Labrador Ruby. We recently went away to the Lake District and started the Wainwright Peak Challenge (only 212 to go!).
