Meet the team

I graduated from Liverpool University in 2018. I spent my first two years based in Preston, at Vets4Pets on the New Graduate programme, which enabled me to continue my learning alongside other vets who graduated at the same time. I moved to Accrington in 2022, and have enjoyed every minute of being here.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my two dogs (Kiwi, a 9 year old Border Collie who is often tied to me, and Otto, a 2 year old Golden Retriever, who is much more laid back and happier to stay at home most days). Together we take numerous trips to the beach, runs through town and various long walks into the Dales and the Lake District. I also have five cats – three of which were rescue’s from work. They are indoor and outdoor cats, and have free roam all day. The youngest pair are house cats currently, but the big three enjoy the outdoors at their own leisure and can often be found scaling the tree’s in the garden or lazing in the grass on warmer days

Hi I’m Amanda, I first started working in the veterinary profession in 2000 and qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2004. Since qualifying I have worked in a number of practices in the North West of England, from small practices to referral centres and large hospitals and emergency and critical care practices. I have worked in all areas throughout my career, theatre, wards, out of hours and preventative health care consultations. During this time have I have gained my A1 assessor qualification and been a clinical coach. I first joined Vets4pets group at Penny Lane, and joined Accrington Vets4pets in 2018, where I have taken the head nurse roll. I’m interested in all aspects of nursing and passionate about providing a high standard of patient care for your furry family members. In my spare time I am busy with my horses Harold and Solomon and my cat Kitty.

Hi I'm Jenny, I obtained my degree in veterinary nursing in 2017 and I joined Vets 4Pets in November 2019. I am very passionate about high standards of care for all my patients and I am currently studying an advanced nursing qualification in exotic species.
In my spare time I am very artistic and outgoing, I enjoy attending concerts and being creative. My home consists of our spoilt cats, a cheeky hamster, a loud dancing cockatoo and an adorable complicated rabbit. At work I am referred to as the crazy rabbit lady due to my passion, knowledge and dedication to their care.
I look forward to meeting all your furbabies from dogs and cats to small furries.

Hi I’m Morgan, I have just finished my degree in veterinary nursing in May 2021 and have joined the nursing team here at Accrington Vets4Pets. I enjoy all aspects of nursing but I am particularly interested in anaesthesia and surgery. In my spare time I will either be walking my dogs, Riley and Buster or riding my horse Cassie. I look forward to meeting you and your pets!

Hi im Maddie and I am a student veterinary nurse, I started working in veterinary practices when I was 16 and knew from there that I wanted to be a veterinary nurse. I am currently in my second year of training and look forward to continuing my studies working here at Accrington vets4pets. I am interested in all aspects of nursing but in particular anaesthesia and surgery.
I have 3 cats of my own, 2 of which are mainecoons (my favourite breed!) which keep me busy in my spare time. I look forward to meeting all of your pets!

Hi, my name’s Sophie and I’m a member of the client care advisor team. I started working for Vets4Pets in 2018 after graduating university with a BSc Hons in Zoology with Herpetology (meaning I’m a weird snake lady). I’ve kept hundreds of different animals over the years including some that would surprise almost anybody (cough skunks cough) but I’m currently the proud owner of one geriatric lady Jack Russell Terrier with an attitude, Chocolate, a bonkers Tabby Cat with no boundaries, Emily, a not-so-slimy snake, Stanley, and a Blue Tongue Skink who loves Lasagne, Iris (I’ll let you figure out what’s special about her species).
When I’m not in practice, I’m usually spending time with my long-distance partner. Other than that I love art, fashion, gaming (..nerd) & spending time with my crazy human & animal family!

Hello i’m Elizabeth. I have started working for Vets4Pets early this year. I love working here and I enjoy talking to you and greeting all your beautiful fur friends that come into our clinic and make everyone feel welcomed.
I studied Animal Management Level 3 Diploma graded with a Distinction* at Myerscough College.
When i’m not at work, I enjoy spending time walking or cuddling up on the settee with my best friend, Missy. She’s a Westie cross Shitzu. I like playing video games with my partner (even though he’s better than me). Going out for long drives and site seeing.

Hi, I’m Magda and I started my journey with Vets4Pets early this year, after working 7 years in the beauty industry. Magic of this place is no day is the same! I love meeting all of your furry babies especially puppies.
At home I have a chocolate lab (which I adopted 2 years ago) called Lola who is my little shadow.
I am also a lash technician, and when I’m not working, I love to go for a long walks with my little shadow and my family, or do some exercise.

Hi, I’m Hannah. I started working for Vets4Pets in December 2022. I’ve wanted to work with animals since I was little and I have thoroughly enjoyed working in the practice and meeting all your beautiful animals.
When I’m not working here at the practice, I spend my time volunteering at the RSPCA and dog sitting for two crazy dogs, a cocker spaniel called Charlie and a border collie called Dixie.
Alongside spending time with animals I also love travelling and exploring new places with my friends.

Hello, I’m Laura!
I joined Vets 4 Pets in 2022 as a Pet Health Advisor
I love meeting you & your fur babies, aswell as working alongside the amazing team here at Accrington.
Outside of work I spend most of my time either with my son or covered in mud, straw or any other random substance that exists from caring for our animals ranging from cows, sheep & horses, to Bengal cats & dogs (2 naughty beagles and a very clever border collie who is disgusted by the beagle’s behaviour).
Vets4Pets Accrington is committed to bringing you affordable, high quality care via a modern, well equipped practice, including a lab, pharmacy, digital x-ray and ultrasound. Plus, on site car parking too!
The friendly team can't wait to meet all of their new clients!
