Meet the team

I qualified in Istanbul and moved to London where I completed the RCVS Diploma in Veterinary Medicine in 2003. I worked in London for the Blue Cross for 15 years and have many years of experience working in busy veterinary practices. I completed my PhD in Animal Husbandry and Welfare in 2004, and have an RCVS Certificate in Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging and an ESVPS general practitioner certificate in Cardiology.
My main interest is treating and caring for small animals, with particular interest in Diagnostic Imaging, Cardiology, Surgery and Animal Welfare.
At home I enjoy spending time with my family and my gorgeous cat Minyon.

I qualified as a veterinary surgeon 13 years ago from the University of Liverpool after having attained my undergraduate science degree from London’s Royal Veterinary College. I joined the Borehamwood team in October 2023, after having worked in various Vets4Pets practices in London, Hatfield, Yorkshire and Essex. I enjoy all aspects of veterinary medicine and surgery, and strive to provide the highest level of compassionate care to all my patients. My interests are soft-tissue surgery with a specific focus on airway surgery for brachycephalic dogs. I adore cats and really want to push cat friendly practice with stress free trips to the vets for our feline patients.
Apart from work, I enjoy spending time with my family including a cat called Chakudi, reading, travelling and the theatre.

I started my veterinary nurse training in 2013 following the day release apprenticeship route and qualified in 2016. I have worked at various small animal practices as well as working in emergency and critical care. I enjoy all aspects of nursing but especially enjoy caring for hospitalised patients and the challenging aspects of nursing critically ill patients. I am hoping to complete a certificate in this area in the future.
In my spare time I love spending time with my family and going for long walks with my dog Fleur.

I started as an animal nursing assistant in 2005 and have been working in the profession ever since. I
registered as a qualified veterinary nurse in 2016. During the last two decades I have gained a range
of experience in first opinion practices, hospitals, referral, emergency care, anaesthetic monitoring,
radiography and so on. I’m particularly interested in my role as a clinical supervisor/coach and
helping to train the younger generations in their veterinary profession.
