We are open for essential care only

In line with government guidelines, we are only offering medically essential appointments, so please contact the practice team before travelling. Our opening hours may also vary, so please monitor our webpage to keep up to date with the latest information.

We are taking steps to help keep you and our colleagues safe:

  • If you do need to visit, we ask that only one person per pet comes along, to help reduce the number of people in the waiting area at any one time.
  • Social distancing is crucial at this time. When arriving, you may be required to call ahead and wait to be invited in by a member of our team. You will be informed if this is necessary when you call us to make your appointment.
  • Once inside the practice, we ask that you please respect a two metre distance from our colleagues and other clients.
  • We are only accepting card payments to help minimise contact between you and our colleagues.
  • If you can’t visit the practice and are concerned about your pet’s health, please contact us to discuss available options.

We will continue to share regular updates here and on our Facebook page. We thank you for your patience at this time.

I came over from Dublin in 2002 having graduated as a vet with a keen interest in small animal surgery. I first came to work for Charlton Companion Care in 2004 and very quickly fell in love with London and I knew I would be here to stay. in 2006 I took the opportunity to invest in the practice and have really enjoyed developing a relationship with my patients and their owners. I am really proud to be able to offer a warm, friendly and professional service with a high standard of veterinary care.

After obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and French at the University of Pennsylvania, I went on to pursue my veterinary degree at Szent István University. Upon completing my degree, I relocated to the UK where I began working as a vet in a busy small animal practice in Essex. Having spent four years in Essex, I've gotten the exciting chance to move into London and join the Vets4Pets Charlton team. Outside of work, I am an avid rowing fan and love to travel-- especially back to my two rambunctious Jack Russels, Beano & Tadgh, who still live in the States.

After completing my masters degree in Veterinary Medicine at Ghent University (Belgium) in 2009, I immediately started as an academic assistant at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. I taught students, performed clinical trials and worked on my PhD in Veterinary Parasitology and European Veterinary Parasitology College diplomate training, both of which I successfully finished in 2015. I moved to the UK in 2016 and worked in a busy small animal practice in Essex for three years before relocating to London and starting at Vets4Pets Charlton. On my days off, I enjoy camping, reading a good book and going on adventures overseas!

My first venture into the veterinary world was here at Vets4Pets Charlton. I first came to the practice for work experience back in 2012, and following this was lucky enough to be offered a part time position on the weekends, whilst studying for my A levels. Since qualifying I have become our student nurse Niki’s Clinical Coach, and I completed my Certificate in Feline Nursing in March 2019. At Home I have two cats named Tommy and Trubble

Animals have always been a huge part of my life and I've owned a variety of pets over the years. Previously I studied at Westminster University and completed my degree in TV Production. However, my passion for animals led me onto a new career path and I joined the practice in June 2016. In January 2018 I started a course with the College of Animal Welfare to train as Veterinary Nurse. At home I have 4 snakes (including Tengu my 6 foot boa constrictor!) 6 geckos, a tortoise, a newt, 2 hamsters, a Guinea pig and lots of pet mice and quails!

I originally studied English at Queen's University Belfast but soon after graduating realised that the only career that I could truly love was one working with animals. In order to achieve this goal I completed an HND Level 5 in Animal Management, before moving to London with my two dogs and joining the team in August 2017. Back in Ireland, I have two cats, another dog, and a rabbit who live happily with my parents in the country-side where I grew up. My interests haven't changed much since I was young and as such I love gaming, reading, and exploring with my animals whenever I can.

I joined the practice in January 2008 as a part time receptionist after spending three years studying for my First Diploma in Animal Care and then a National Diploma in Animal Management. I quickly took on a full time receptionist position and in November 2012 I became the head receptionist; during this time I also studied for a Pet Loss Bereavement Support certificate with the Bluecross. In November 2013 I became the Assistant Practice Manager and subsequently became the Practice Manager in January 2018. During this time I have completed a Level 3 Diploma in First Line Management and I'm currently studying a Foundation Degree in Management and Leadership with the Chartered Management Institute. My priorities include providing our clients with excellent customer service and value for money, as well as providing support for all the staff. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, travelling to new countries and having a go at baking. At home I have a cross bred husky called Diesel and two cats, Molly and Jess.

After studying at Fine Art College and then going on to work in a busy hair salon in Central London I have been lucky enough to join an amazing team here at Vets4Pets Charlton. As many people I have always loved animals and care deeply about their welfare. I have had pets since I was a toddler and couldn't live without them. And now I am able to work with them which I am grateful for everyday. After being inspired by the staff here I knew after a short while I wanted to train as a veterinary nurse and stay in this profession and environment forever.

I'm currently working as a Vet Care Assistant in hopes of expanding my knowledge and experience working with animals. In the near future I aspire to study veterinary nursing. I have always wanted to work with animals and this job has helped me confirm this. I've been surrounded by animals as a child and currently live with three 4 legged fluff balls (my dogs), a cat and a snake.

After working as a chocolatier for 8 years and volunteering at a city farm, in May 2019 I was lucky enough to be able to join the great team at Vets 4 Pets Charlton as a Veterinary Care Assistant. I have always been passionate about animals and their care, having various pets myself over the years. My guinea pig Freddie whom I adopted from Adoption for Pets within Pets at Home is currently keeping me company.

My role is so rewarding, and I feel so privileged to be able to care for our furry friends (some not so furry!) at their time of need. In my free time I like to hang out with Freddie, I enjoy long walks and gardening watching nature around me
