We are open for essential care only
In line with government guidelines, we are only offering medically essential appointments, so please contact the practice team before travelling. Our opening hours may also vary, so please monitor our webpage to keep up to date with the latest information.
We are taking steps to help keep you and our colleagues safe:
- If you do need to visit, we ask that only one person per pet comes along, to help reduce the number of people in the waiting area at any one time.
- Social distancing is crucial at this time. When arriving, you may be required to call ahead and wait to be invited in by a member of our team. You will be informed if this is necessary when you call us to make your appointment.
- Once inside the practice, we ask that you please respect a two metre distance from our colleagues and other clients.
- We are only accepting card payments to help minimise contact between you and our colleagues.
- If you can’t visit the practice and are concerned about your pet’s health, please contact us to discuss available options.
We will continue to share regular updates here and on our Facebook page. We thank you for your patience at this time.
Meet the team
I am Nancy Cross a qualified veterinary nurse. I have been nursing since I was 17 years old and qualified in 2007. I have working in small animal practices throughout the UK then specialised as a theatre nurse at the Royal Veterinary Colleges Queen Mother Hospital in Hertfordshire for 8 years. My life changed as I became a mother to my first little boy. I returned to general veterinary practice back in Northamptonshire. I then had my twin boys. I joined Vets4Pets Corby in January 2016 and have been here since.
I have four pets, Maisie and Charlie our two rescue cats, our guinea pig Peach, and our newest rescue is DeeDee the three legged Chihuahua Cross.
I qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2014 from the College of Animal Welfare. I have a keen interest in emergency and critical care and I am currently working towards my ECC certificate. During the last 5 years of my career I have worked in both day practice and for out of hours providers. For the last 2 years I have been working OOH, but I am now enjoying being back in day practice, I’m also enjoying my sleep at night!
I have a Labrador called Bella, a Cockapoo called Ralphy and in my spare time I enjoy going on adventures finding new places to walk with them. I also have a cat called Lola, I rescued her as a kitten back when I was training to become a nurse
I joined Vets4Pets Corby in 2014 as a Veterinary Care Assistant when the practice first opened having previously graduated from university in 2012 with a BSc (Hons) Animal Science degree. For me it had been a lifelong dream to work with animals and work within the veterinary industry and being at Corby has given me that opportunity. I am currently completing my diploma of Veterinary Care Assistants, and hope to go on to study to become a qualified veterinary nurse. In My spare time I have a love of music and photography and enjoy travelling to see my favourite bands live. I often spend my spare time over the summer working at some of the UK's largest music festivals. As a keen amateur photographer my camera is rarely far away and I can be usually found shooting family, friends, their pets or the bands I've gone to see.
My name is Sophie Bettles and I have just completed my two year course at Moulton College and have gained a Level 3 Diploma in Animal Welfare and Management . I have started my career at Corby Vets4Pets as a VCA and hope to go onto my nursing training . I am passionate about animals and I have four rabbits of my own.
Christina is a member of our Reception Team and has always wanted to work with animals and learn more about them and their care. She has a love for them all big and small except Spiders ! She has a dog Milo and more recently a new kitten Pawz . Her favourite part of the job is meeting all the pets that come in to the surgery , she enjoys the challenge as no two days are the same .
