Meet the team

My journey begins much earlier in life as an animal lover and carrying for all creatures.
I spent most of my childhood in the country side, at my Grandparents house. Every day was an adventure and it was here my personality shaped as an animal lover. My grandmother always was amazed about the diversity of creatures I can bring home.
My parents’ house wasn't big enough for the many animals I rescued! But despite of this it was always was full of small size pets like hamster, tortoise, aquarium fish and sometimes wild birds, reptiles or even a wild mouse!
When I grew up the desire to be around animals made me to take one of the greatest decisions, that to become a Veterinarian.
I have graduated in 2015 from one of the Universities in Romania.
After that moved in the UK and stared my career as a vet.
In March 2020, I took the best decision to join a wonderful team alongside such a carrying and loving people here at Vets4pets Corby.
Me and my husband we own two dogs, Donna 13 y old cross boxer and Cindy 11 y old cross yorkie. Both adopted when I was a student.
I spend most of my time with my husband and my dogs. We like to travel as often as we can.
I love books (all sorts!) and sometimes I will even read more than one book at the same time, wanting to absorb as much information as possible!
The desire to make others happy is in all of us, we just have to express it.

I am Nancy Cross a qualified veterinary nurse. I have been nursing since I was 17 years old and qualified in 2007. I have working in small animal practices throughout the UK then specialised as a theatre nurse at the Royal Veterinary Colleges Queen Mother Hospital in Hertfordshire for 8 years. My life changed as I became a mother to my first little boy. I returned to general veterinary practice back in Northamptonshire. I then had my twin boys. I joined Vets4Pets Corby in January 2016 and have been here since. I took the position as head nurse in the middle of 2019 and in January 2020 I became the practice manager. I love the Corby practice. Our clients and patients have kept us going and make us strive to give the best service we can.
I have five pets our two rescue cats - Maisie and Charlie, our guinea pigs - Princess Peach and Mario, and our three legged Chihuahua Cross rescue - DeeDee.

I joined Vets4Pets Corby in 2014 as a Veterinary Care Assistant when the practice first opened having previously graduated from university in 2012 with a BSc (Hons) Animal Science degree. For me it had been a lifelong dream to work with animals and work within the veterinary industry and being at Corby has given me that opportunity. In 2019 I completed my level 2 diploma of Veterinary Care Assistants with distinction. As of January 2020, I have been lucky enough to become a student veterinary nurse and started at college working towards my diploma and becoming a registered veterinary nurse. I am enjoying the new day to day challenges this gives me and I am learning more and more every day.
I have a love of music and photography and enjoy spending my spare time travelling to see my favourite bands live. I often spend my holiday over the summer working at some of the UK's largest music festivals, which is something I have been involved with for over 10 years now and love every moment of, I’ve got to see a different side to festivals and have made friends for life doing it and they are the reason I keep going back. Although my camera is not normally found far from my hand, neither is my own mascot of sorts, Dexter, the little red download dog, and I enjoy capturing his adventures across the country as a fun way of showing what I’ve been up to.

My name is Aimee and I have recently joined the team here at Vets4pets Corby.
I knew from a very young age I wanted to work with and help animals-In 2017 I qualified from Nottingham Trent university as a Registered Veterinary Nurse.
Since then I have thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of nursing including general practice and emergency work and have been on many adventures along the way, including travelling to Grenada to do some voluntary work along with other vets and nurses and have met a lot of amazing and caring people on my journey so far.
In 2019 I also completed an additional emergency and critical care certificate and one of my favourite aspects of nursing is inpatient care and emergency cases as well as theatre work and nurse consultations. I thoroughly enjoy my job and caring for the animals and couldn't imagine myself doing anything else.
I have 3 amazing dogs myself, 2 Labradors that live with my parents and a small terrier. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my friends, family and animals.

I’m Tess and I joined the practice in June 2020. I qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2014 and I have a keen interest in Physiotherapy and rehabilitation.
In 2018 I qualified as a small animal physiotherapist and have been practising as a Physio ever since.
I enjoy training and competing with my two Cocker Spaniels, Alfie and Dylan and I also enjoy socialising with friends.
I also have a passion for surgical nursing and running a variety of nurse clinics.

My name is Sophie Bettles.
I completed my two year course at Moulton College and have gained a Level 3 Diploma in Animal Welfare and Management in June 2019.
In July 2019 started my career at Corby Vets4Pets as a veterinary care assistant and hope to go onto my nursing training . I am passionate about animals and I have four rabbits and a hamster of my own.
In my spare time I like to spend time with friends and family and I enjoy going for lovely countryside walks.

Hi, I'm Annie, and I am a full time Receptionist here at Corby!
I am Collie mad, and have two at home - Teddie the Border Collie, and Bear the Rough Collie.
I enjoy walks with them both, so spend a lot of my weekends looking for new places to visit and explore.
